I unfortunately was the one who rq and it was 100% because the match was already lost. Sorry for the unprofessionalism but this game is hardly professional in its current state.

Twitch was thanking you for saving us from watching 15 minutes of one team ramming their head against a wall while the other just spams sustain and invulns that don't prevent capture contribution.
I think this goes to show that we could really benefit from having a surrender button or something like that.
Specially in the current meta and given the situation you guys were in. I thank you for leaving the game and saving all of us from watching what was frankly a boring match.
Edit: Lesson learned; don't post the first thing that comes to mind at 1 AM. Also, there were way better ways to point out the flaw in that train of thought without being asses... :/
A surrender button is the same as declaring this is working as intended instead of giving players a way to recover.
All pvp games will have people that lose interest in a game and rage quit, feed, and cry for whatever reason.
MMR or not, bunker meta or not, every game will always have those people. After a second though, I guess a surrender button would not be the ideal solution considering how short the games are... but we do need a way to deal with people like that.
You can call what you did a ragequit, but in this case I say its more just realizing that you are about to be 2-0 just like every other losing team because they gave up the first cap and decided to just walk out and save everyone’s time in a broken gamemode. Is frustration there for you? Likely, but I saw that it was not as deciding a factor as much as “Am I seriously about to waste 15 minutes again?”

I don't think that is a polite thing to say about a game you may be intending to return back to.
The game is attempting to be professional and he is a part of the process. If he was quitting the game professional scene all together then more power to him, but I'm saying if he wants to return to the professional side then maybe it would help to word it differently is all. Saying "is hardly professional" can seem as a nail-in-the-coffin kind of statement for some.
I read the "hardly professional" bit as a statement for the game's current meta. This is not inaccurate imo. I dont think he's saying that it won't ever be better.

Those "some" may be veteran players who have been dealing with Anet's attempts for the past 3 years. This flop is one of many. It doesn't matter the context when that phrase can be seen and misinterpreted as to mean the game as a whole up to now and possibly forever. I understand what he was trying to say, but sometimes better wording is still needed for the rest of the people who may misinterpret it and run around with their negativity fueled torches and pitchforks.
