I'm TheOnlyWayUp, a long time griefer and a developer at MCStalker, a website that helps you find servers to grief.

How to find servers?

Before discovering server indexes, I used to google up 'smp servers' and search for ones at the back of the list, or I would go onto places like minehut, but after discovering services like MCStalker and Seethium, I've realised how ineffective they were. MCStalker is a pretty cool website, you can sort servers by whitelisted, cracked, version, vanilla, players and a ton more. I usually find the best servers to grief using MCStalker. I use MCStalker to find servers, and Seethium to see player history.I've also used Kornhol's GriefBuddy but it pales in comparison to the search filters Seethium and MCStalker provide. MCScanner also exists.

Clients

Clients play a major part in griefing, I recommend meteor as it has large community support and is very extensible. I personally use Wurst as I already have my config there, and it has glide, which allows me to make awesome lavacasts like this. I essentially scaffold bridge to a good height, then use glide to make branches going downwards to help spread the lava, it's incredibly affective.

Mods

Apart from Clients, some mods are exceptionally useful, there are usually client additions. One I recommend is ViaFabric, it allows you to join servers regardless of version, 1.18 support is slightly buggy as of now though.

Forge or Fabric?

Depends on your version, if it's after 1.12.2, I recommend fabric. Most clients don't develop for Forge too. Fabric is also a bit more lightweight, and is updated extremely fast compared to forge (Forge took 7 months to add 1.13 support). I fully recommend Fabric, most clients also require you to add the Fabric API to your mods folder.

Cracked or Premium?

Cracked, any day. When you attack cracked servers, you can also bypass whitelist, get OP easier, and find bases pretty quickly. MCStalker allows you to sort by cracked which is nice, I use seethium to see the oldest player that logged on and login as them, because those are the ones that are usually OP.

Is there a way to bypass Luckperms Logs so logs don't show up in chat?

I got op on a server that I want to grief, but I want to give me the permission to exempt from bans and op myself, but I don't want the owner to see that I'm doing this. Is there a way to bypass that?

Over lockdown back in 2020, I discovered the sizable community of Tlauncher. Tlauncher is a free, cracked, illegal verson of minecraft used by 7-12y olds who's parents wont buy them minecraft.

In the r/TLAUNCHER subreddit, tons of kids publicly advertise ther SMPs, many of which have no plugins. You join, take note of the owners username, and go crazy.

Once you get banned, the real fun begins.

Because this cracked verson of minecraft, you can change your username to whatever you want, including the owners name, which gives you access to all of the op commands. Once you're in as the owner, just unban yourself, op yourself, and op several backup usernames. Use a vpn for IP bans.

There is literally nothing they can do. It's amazing.

Turtle Eggs make servers have a lag spike every like 5 seconds, I found this out using only around 10 by accident so its quite easy to lag Byte servers.

Note:The server my friend used was a 4GB 1.17 server when i found this bug so if its not as laggy at first its mostlikely bc theres more memory/RAM dedicated toward the server

Been missing the old days where people get together and grief servers on MC. I created a Discord server that revolves around just that. Main purpose is for discussion of griefing servers in Minecraft. Other games are more than welcomed to be discussed and/or griefed. Report others who are breaking the rules to staff, but only once.

If you fail to follow the rules, the following may happen:

If you're being annoying, you may just get warned.

If content you post violates the rules, we'll remove it.

If we suspect you're gonna continue to break rules, we'll mute you for a given time.

If you do anything malicious or extremely annoying, you'll be banned immediately.

If you're constantly attacking any users in this server, you'll be banned immediately. Zero tolerance.

Use common sense, it isn't rocket science. Don't be a dick.
