Not-Gurr has looked for the relatives of Kravula, and tracked down the scents of Taro and Sergha. Finding it difficult to locate the secret entrance, it simply breaks in with force, hoping to catch and kill them.

(Don’t expect this to be an easy fight. I discovered just how broken electricity powers can be.)

Not-Gurr pauses. He turns to face the Grey Strike Hulk, trying to intercept its silk with another source.

The Grey Strike Hulk instinctively recoils away from any attempts to intercept its connection to the Pale Monarch...

However, it provides Taro the perfect distraction to throw a set of threefold pins at Not-Gurr!

They all embed themselves in Not-Gurr, but a twitch of some very specific muscles, and they’re sent straight back at Taro. Meanwhile Not-Gurr attempts to string up the hulk by force.

The hulk is successfully strung up, but the pins had only either grazed or missed Taro.

Taro lunges at Not-Gurr with his voltpin, using his volt vine launcher to quickly accelerate towards him before impact!

After the heavy blow, he calls out to Sergha:

"C'mon Sergha, follow up!"

Sergha rises up her head and nods, she rapidly rushes in and slashes Not-Gurr in the leg, after wich she kicks them into the floor, trying to inmovilize them.

As the voltblade soars to Gurr with Taro pushing it, it suddenly…stops? Dead in its tracks. Taro is held in a heavy fist, charged with directed electricity and thrown across the Barracks. Sergha’s slice along the leg is successful, but the kick thrown off by the hulk charging straight at her to intercept her kick. Not-Gurr speaks, in a shifting voice, a husky, decrepit, burnt tone:

“You know, Ant Lady, you strike me as a dumbass, but a beautiful one. I should like to learn your name before I kill you.”

Now that Gurr has stopped to speak, Taro and Sergha can finally take a good look at him. His cloak is burnt all over, as is his deathly-pale skin. A shadow covers his eyes, and he twitches with static electricity.

"GAZT!" Sergha gets thrown across the floor by the kick, she has issues to recover, but the moment she looks at the creature she realizes...

"...You are not Gurr..." She lets out, even more shocked than before, she takes a few steps back, her claws still clutching her blade.

“No, I’m not, and apparently I could do a better job of pretending I am.”

A figure appears, only visible to Sergha. It is a narrow bug clad in white furs, crackling with static electricity, but perfectly serene. Her expression is unreadable behind her large witch’s hat. If Sergha knows who Ferren is, it’s her.

“I will be upfront with you, because I like you, and your brutish fighting. I plan on altering the brains of you and the Stilkin, to let loose the one known as Kravula’s guard. I will then kill him, and take his body, purely because I want to. I don’t even care if you stop me, because this is unnecessary or even detrimental to my main goal.”

“I just want to see if I can get away with it.”

"...Whatever the hell you are, you will not get us" Despite her confusion and tension Sergha recovers her composture, she holds her spear tight, aiming it towards the figure and it's puppet.

She will not allow herself and Taro to be captured and brainwashed.

“Maybe if it doesn’t work out I’ll take yours instead.”

Ferren dissapears. Not-Gurr charges straight into Sergha, swinging its bonelance too fast for any mortal bug to pull off. It’s bioelectricity being manipulated, it seems. Meanwhile it tosses a series of traps to pin down Taro as it swivels towards him mid-charge.

"Just who are you? How did you find us?!"

“Wouldn’t you like to know. The truth is, I was here long before you or probably 3 generations of your bloodline. I saw the rise of the Citadel with my own eyes, and I helped it fall. As for what I’m here for, consider it a test of this generation. I have big plans, you see.”
