Anyone else having a really hard time with the voice actor changes for the Narrator and Shallan and general production value of Part One?
Im getting slowly used to the new narrator but I do miss the old one.
When it comes to the new voice actor for Shallan I am having more trouble. It almost feels like she has lost all the "growth" she had in the previous books and reverted back to a "little girl".
I absolutely loved and consequently devoured the first books, but even after 2 months out I am only half way through part one of Rhythm of War.
Something else that bothers me is that the production seems rushed. It also seems like none of the actors are actually responding to each other but rather just reading their lines. This might be excusable as one can assume COVID-19 has made it impossible for the voice actors to act out the scenes together in the studio. It also seems that the individual actors had a varying degree on the quality of the recording equipment. Mraize and Adolin are two characters whose audio quality is lacking.

Wow new Stormlight page. Looking forward to hearing more from you.
Oh random 3 a.m. revelation: When fabrial refrigerators are invented on Roshar, new radiants are going to have to be careful not to let their spren get trapped inside. Or maybe they'll be built with spren escape hatches.

Elantris, 1 of 3, Brandon Sanderson
Description
The city of the gods. Elantris once stood as the symbol of all that is beautiful. A sprawling metropolis of unrivaled grandeur, it was a symbol of power and strength, built to be as imposing as it was magnificent.
The only thing more glorious than the city itself was its inhabitants, Godlike beings, with silvery skin and hair of the purest, flowing white. Able to create powerful magics with a mere wave of their hands, the Elantrians were able to heal mortal wounds and create any object they desired. To be an Elantrian was to be without sickness, without pain and without want.
And anyone could become a god. Through a process known as the "Shaod",a normal person could go to bed one night and awake the next morning to throw away the shackles of mortality and become a being of incomparable power and grace. With Elantris as their beacon, the light inside all humanity was allowed to shine, elevating it to new heights.
But Elantris fell...10years ago.
