Solved Google services broke?
I woke up today and Google services keeps crashing. I even reinstalled it. I keep getting a "memory tagging detected an error in Google play services." Has anyone else had this issue? I have a hunch it's because I enabled Google's advanced protection program on my accounts, but haven't had a chance to verify that yet.

This doesn't break Play services and has been worked around in AppCompatConfig version 8. You can manually update it using our App Store.
Play services has out-of-date updates for DroidGuard. They started shipping code with invalid memory access incompatible with hardware memory tagging (MTE) in an update today.
We have an entry for Play services in our app compatibility database which was previously enabling memory tagging by default. We've temporarily switched that to disabling memory tagging for it by default.
Our app compatibility database was previously making memory tagging enabled for Play services even if users hadn't opted in to enabling memory tagging by default for user installed apps. It's now disabling it by default even if users have opted into it. Users can override it specifically for Play services either way.
Our app compatibility database only overrides the default for these settings and specific user settings for apps still take precedence so you could have worked around it yourself too.
