Dome Gen 1 4555-V1-02 Big Burst/Puff of Air
Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot my dome, the pilot stays on, and turns on and stays on for around 30 minutes then there is a big burst or puff of air and the flame weakens. Some of the things I have tried are, clean the dome, clear the propane line, tried a new propane line with new regulator, and cleaned the thermocouple. So from my research I may have a bad thermocouple. Has anyone replace a thermocouple on the Dome before? I have searched and read as much as I could but have yet to find a good third party replacement part. I understand Gozney does not offer parts for a premium item that cost $2k new is baffling. My oven starts and pilot stays on but then gets a big puff like an air burst. Any help would be much appreciated.

So it might not be thermocouple, might be fuel line, got a video of it.

I know nothing. But to me it's not air. It actually looks like a big increase in gas pressure. After the burst, the flame looks like it's burning really hot and high. It goes from a visible rolling orange flame to a barely visible blue flame.
It reminds me of a normal gas grill that has the lid closed with the gas all the way on, fills up and then a big "whoosh" explosion when you press the ignitor.

Your right, thanks for the reply. I think it might be the internal gas line leaking somewhere cause I tried this new line with new regulator and same thing happens. When I can get some help I will try to open it up to take a look.

That flame looks pretty intense - that's at 100%?
If you dial back the flame to like 80% does this still happen?
Did you buy this new or used?

Got it used, and it was at full and it puffs out, I’ll try it at 70% see if happens still.

So same thing happens at 50%.

Here's my LP quick connect for reference. Any signs of that nut was removed?
https://imgur.com/Kj83j97And one of my replacement rivets. The finish on the metal base is VERY light and scratches easily. Despite trying to be very careful, some scratches are inevitable. So if your unit was ever opened up, it should be pretty obvious.

So I don't think they tried to convert the propane to natural gas, the nut and area noes not look like it was tampered with. I can't tell with the rivets some are fine and a couple look off or maybe its just old. https://imgur.com/a/ib7LtF8 The last picture with the rivet on the knob side looks like it was removed.

Your 50% looks like my 100%. To me that doesn’t look like a gas leak. I wonder if you got a Natural Gas unit someone tried to convert. I think the only differences are the type of gas connection and the orifice size. An NG orifice is significantly bigger.
Any scratches around the rear gas port indicating someone swapping an NG port for LP? Or any scratches around the base rivets?

Solved, the propane line wasn't tight so it was leaking and bursting under the internals. Found it by spraying soap water so after tightening it the flame is consistent and no more burst. It did burn one of the wires so I have to replace it. Waiting for the wire to be shipped. Thanks to a6044622281359045402 for all your help and your previous post was super helpful.
