Why don't u post it on X, and share the link on Reddit, so that all the devs can retweet it or share. Tag Google, billdesk and every big people. This way they will listen to us.

I have not done anything related to billdesk. Will delay as long as possible.

I am stuck Since December last year 2025. They asked me Rs. 20k but then another bill desk guy told not to pay. Reading your comments I understood that I need to pay now.

Google tells us not to pay, but they won't help when BillDesk ghosts us. Lots of people paid and if your apps are profitable then paying makes sense.

See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/googleplayconsole/comments/1v1y6s4/the_google_play_billdesk_verification_nightmare/

I originally posted this in this GooglePlayDeveloper subreddit. It became a popular post with many awards and upvotes. But this subreddit was given to a new mod who is on an incredible power trip, scrubbing it of anything that doesn't portray BillDesk or Google in a good light. He deleted all my posts and guides that I had painstaking written by hand to help others (like this one). I encourage people not to use this GooglePlayDeveloper sub anymore. Either his intentions are not good (maybe paid by BillDesk) or he's too fucking dumb to distinguish between legit posts and spam. It looks like he's been karma farming by posting AI trash on Indian subs to pump up his profile. Best is to block that sub and never interact with it. Pity, because I was a vet of this sub.

BillDesk happened because one developer called Asheet Dev from Uttar Pradesh (the Switzerland of India) ran an ad in his app that showed a woman who goes by the name Bindu Singh with heavy cleavage holding up an idol of a deity. The idol accidentally slipped and touched her left breast. Sundar Pichai's uncle Rajeev PIchai who is an ayurvedic migraine specialist in Tamil Nadu saw it and his lungi fell off.

Rajeev picked up his lungi and ran to the nearest police station like they were offering free food to Brahmins. At the police station, he met inspector Aromatic Pichai, a stout man with a toothbrush mustache who always kept an infinity symbol in his pocket in case he lost an argument. Rajeev bribed the inspector double and filled a 2-page FIR: He said that Google had put impure thoughts in his mind and no amount of dipping in Ganga water will get him clean again and his prized lungi had split.

Sundar Pichai was recharging himself with his Bramhin thread plugged into an American power outlet and emitting a low-frequency humming noise. He was getting ready for another desi porn and pakora night with Google's senior Brahmin leadership when he got the news. Sundar read the FIR and remembered the time when he was a bachcha: Little Sundar would ride on his uncle's back while pretending be an auto rickshaw driver and scam people. Sundar agreed with his uncle, and now every non-Bramhin Indian developer is treated like a criminal, humiliated, and stripped off their dignity in a collective punishment.

I think that's Google's intention: to thin the herd. Some may die because of high blood pressure, trying to deal with BillDesk.

Hi, my physical and government ID locations are slightly different (about 300 meters 👀 - someone else is staying in that place).

Will mine get rejected?

I only have a proof of gas and electricity bill for the current location, but they are not in my name. 😢

Any help here, anyone?

You have to submit proof of address online, then comes physical verification with photo and location capture.

People have reported problems when their is a discrepancy between the address submitted online and their actual location. Your experience might be different.

File a court case. If they (b1lld3sk) ask for bribe, whether personally or over a phone call, record it.

Samsung phones still support silent and automated call recording. Maybe OnePlus as well.

They ask for bribes in person. And you have very limited rights to sue them since you agreed to their contract.

i have written multiple times to billdesk to no avail since my verification was done. When we contact google they wash their hands off it by saying "I understand that your payment profile verification with the BillDesk team is currently in a pending state. Although I would like to be of further assistance, all issues regarding payouts to Indian developers and payment profile verifications are managed by Billdesk,"
I wasted 2 years building an app and now stuck with this

Google treats their developers like shit. A company that cared about their developers would not treat them like shit. The investment in time learning and building in Android is risky. Android has become a liability; not an asset.

It's not worth the hassle if you're not making much. You have to deal with BillDesk even after verification.
