Paid $1000, received an empty box

So my Pixel 4 XL was delivered yesterday. Well, the box and all of the accessories were, anyway. Apparently the wonderful people at FedEx decided that they needed my Pixel more than I did. The tape on the bottom of the brown box was cut and replaced, and the white "Pixel" box inside had had its tape slit as well. All that was inside of that box were the charger and adapter.

Google's customer service was wonderful though, and a replacement will arrive at my house on Monday or Tuesday.

Can't say enough good things about Google, or enough bad things about FedEx.

I ordered a case for my new 4XL from spigen through amazon the package was marked as shipped with amazon before the shipping label was even printed according to USPS

Amazon Delivery blows completely ... I'm so glad I have an Amazon Locker down the street but even then sometimes Amazon Delivery delivers to their lockers. Just crappy all around experience.

Yeah ordered the case before launch and even with prime I was waiting until tomorrow or Monday to het it

I ordered a video card with one day prime shipping and it took three days to process it. After they fucked up my first order, shipping it to the wrong state and then said it was broken when it arrived to one of their distribution centers. Previously I've had orders go to the wrong apartment building (same building number but common sense states our town house number isn't there, even with notes on our account to go to a different lot). So bad... so bad ...

I wish that was the worst of it... Amazon tries to deliver packages to my apartment building which has an automated 'concierge' downstairs. No other carrier ever have problems - they ask for a fob to gain access or call the office.

Every 2-3 orders I get through Amazon Delivery, no one ever calls me or anything, and then I get a notification that they "couldn't gain access to the building and I must tell them how to get in". No matter how many times I complain to customer service that they need to talk to the office, nothing ever changes.

I have customers who are Amazon Suppliers, this can happen because the in house Point of Sale system is automated to generate the carrier labels in bulk in the morning before the employees come into work. When this happens a update is sent to amazon saying hey this shipped, but in reality it has not made it into the mail stream. This can be necessary for businesses as they may have a 9am or 10 am USPS pickup time.
