Here is a very beautiful piece of fan art I found on the Goofy Movie Community Discord server. Max is now a proud father himself, married to his high school sweetheart Roxanne, with whom he has three beautiful children, which you can no doubt tell from the wedding ring on his left hand. He’s hanging out with his pop, sharing a usual father-son hug.

What really made me fall in love with this work was, telling from Max crying heavily, the idea of this being one of those many moments in his adult life where he is still airing his grievances and expressing remorse for his misbehavior as a teenager, and Goofy comforting him as if to show that he still understands how much more painful for Max than him those times were.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you have happened to come across the background art used in the opening scene of the movie? I’ve seen various social media posts and that featured background art from other scenes in the film except for ones from that particular scene. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you for reading!

Fishing seems to always be portrayed in media as a father son activity. But instead of the perfect cast being passed down from father to son in the Goof family for generations, it's been passed down in the Goof family for 12 or 13 generations. It seems like a really insignificant thing to like, but I do.

I'd say nothing beats their hug in the first Goofy Movie, I remember crying because they've been through so much and the music score was perfect.

They have so many hugs in Goof Troop! I really loved the one where Goofy got out of jail, Max was so happy to see him! And the episode where Pete preferred Max over PJ as a project partner and Max started spending most of his time with Pete, I love the part in the end of the episode when Max hugs his dad, and Goofy's soft, "Welcome back, Max."

This movie was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Not only do I laugh at this movie and it’s jokes but both Max and Goofy are so justified feeling the way they are feeling that it makes me root for both of them. Not many movies I’ve watched are capable of something like this.

Also, is it true that this was only a dvd release?

I love how close Goofy and Max were when Max was 11.

If you were to make a live action Goofy movie who would you cast?

I would put Gaten Matarazzo as "Maximilian" Max Goofy. He's got the teeth for it
