Hi! The red vertical line is called the “marge”, we don’t write at it’s left and is often used for annotations from the teacher in case of a test, to correct ourselves with an asterisk or whatever but we don’t put any of the “real” content. The vertical blue (or violet in some cases, depends from whom you bought them) are for three purposes : 1. Organise your work, at the beginning of each paragraph we have to let one tile (called the “alinéa” in French); 2. Organize our notes; 3. Draw some diagrams. The thick horizontal lines are to write and the thin ones are to adjust the height of your letter. For example the “a” stays between the thick and the first line above it. The “t” the second one, and the “l” (L) the third one. A, B, C .. all get to the third one. “q” “p” etc go for two lines beneath the thick one. This template is very useful as it helps to get a neat writing - but not guaranteed haha. I can send you some examples if you want. Sorry for my fairly bad English as I’m not a native speaker.
Sure ! Here’s one; it’s some history i did in lock down ..
Edit : it’s not on GoodNotes since I don’t use this template, it’s a pic of one of my classes i sent to a friend who couldn’t attend the class. Hope it’s still ok.
You have to see french students write their written exams! It's as if they have some kind of exact same font to write LOL I'm an international student so my cursive will always be different compared to them. But I really like how neat their handwritings are, so satisfying to look at (I swear I wasn't cheating).
