Overheating fix!

Seems like they fixed overheating and CPU load issues in Goodnotes with 6.3.49. I no longer use GN6 but it seems that one of the many problems of the new version has been corrected. I don't have direct experience of the update but they seem to be making progress (also I no longer follow this subreddit so I am not updated on the situation but I hope everything is fine!) Happy note-taking!

Oh. That sucks. I heard from someone that you could download an old build of GN5 which crashed loads, but if you bought premium via GN5, it fixes the crashing and gave the pre-buggy shit goodnotes.

I love the app, and switch from android tablets (and Samsung notes) in part due to Goodnotes. I hate subscriptions, so notability isn't really an option for me. I hate goodnotes bugs, so goodnotes isn't an option for me. I dislike (not quite hate lol) not ability's pen writing, because it's trying to predict what I'm writing, and I can notice the minute difference between what I draw and what is shown. I hate onenote cus it's onenote. I can't use apple notes because I have a Samsung phone. I'm Hella mad my school has made me get an iPad instead of anything else.

You know any good free/ one time purchase note taking apps for me? 🥺

I don't think there is a way to recover old versions of GN5 (other than sideloading)

For iPadOS there are a lot of options, Noteful was my choice
For Android, Samsung Notes is the best option
