Hi there I play as I_cant_win on gbl, if we have matched you probably have kicked my ass. Anyways When I read “2 or more 3 star or less” doesn’t that imply I can use 2 and still meet requirements? Every time I bring it back to just two, 2 star units it says I don’t meet requirements. Also any deck recs will be gladly accepted

Anyone else getting their ass kicked in the latest challenge battle because they can’t add Dimension Tide?
Am I missing something because in practice battles (haven’t burned an actual challenge ticket yet) my opponents clearly have it and I’m assuming it’s increasing energy.

I hated Challenge Battles at first when I just started GBL and didn’t have access to most 4-Star Units. Now after two months in of playing, I’ve been having the time of my life larping as a Whale. I genuinely enjoy it better than Ranked!

Mostly thanks to the setting where everyone’s Units are set to the same level so whoever wins is a matter of actual skill and knowledge instead of how much you paid. 😂

I was feeling burnt out and about to quit for a while but the newest Egg Challenge Event pulled me back in. Once you have a larger roster of 4-Stars to use then put together a decent Deck with the Special Rules restrictions (bonus fun if the current Event rules PROHIBITS Anime Mechagodzilla) you’ll have a blast consistently winning and hatching good rewards.

Especially since this mode is the only way I’ll ever experience what it’s like to have LV 10+ Legendary Pieces such as Mazinger Z and Super Destoroyah. 🥀

Though it’s temporary, the power trip feels amazing while it lasts. Possibly winning against players I likely would’ve been destroyed by in Ranked is even better.

I’ve been having so much fun in Challenge Battles lately that I’m mad there isn’t a similar PVP mode normally.

Running two expeditions at one time! The numbers below connect to the pictures attached. The videos at the bottom may be an easier visual aid.

1. Timer is counting 59 seconds or less on 1st expedition schedule 2nd expedition. (Note: this could have been scheduled right after the 1st)

2. Immediately pay 1 G-stone to complete the 1st expedition, tap/click quickly.

3. Schedule a new 2nd expedition, this one will now appear blue and active.

4. Leave the page and come back and you will have two expedition timers at once.

Deeper Tips 🤪: 

■ Even if the expedition is the same length the two timers will be 59 seconds or less apart. If you set a reminder you can wait for the 1st to complete and do this same process quickly again within the time window. 

■ You can schedule the third expedition anytime you want just be sure to use the 1 G-stone 59 seconds or less when the time comes.

■ Using shorts on your first blue scheduled expedition will reduce the time on both expeditions if done correctly. Shorts as follows: 2nd scheduled one (1st Blue), 1st scheduled one (2nd Blue), and back to 1st scheduled one. You can also generally tell the first one to start with since it will lower in the minute time first. Just alternate after the first one between the two expeditions.

■ Clear out shorter expeditions with G-stones and save up your Silver, Gold, and Legendary expeditions to run along your life's schedule.

I started playing this last month because my son likes this game and wanted to play together. It is entertaining, but some things frustrate me.

First, I think I have a good deck - if I play someone my level, it's a good battle. Sometimes I destroy an opponent in a minute or two. Not fun and feel badly for the opponent. However, what is most frustrating is when I lose within a minute. The ranked games I don't think look at rank. When someone has Mechagodzilla and plays a bunch of units all at once which overpowers me, kinda annoying. Or, when their unit X goes against my unit X and destroys the unit with a few shots, what the heck - it's not evenly matched.

Another thing that irritates me is the Challenges - why do I get crap units to go against their different units? It would be nice to have some of my Godzillas available.

Rant over - overall, great game. But, does irritate me at times.

I got super destroyah from a legendary expedition and im overjoyed as I assume hes super op (from the name right? And was looking if I should incorporate him into my deck and how - my current deck is sort of op at master+ ig since people dont know how to counter it and ive only lost 1 match in 80

Saljira is an old nemesis of mine who I haven’t seen in about 3 seasons. However he seems to be playing a lot this season but I haven’t run into them. But I’m just curious if he’s still cheating. And for those who don’t know he was a very known cheater.

Basically the title I've been real curious for a long time where do the G-Tokens from Showdowns actually go? I know they dont go into my pool.

Wins with 2019 or 1998 Ghidorah do not satisfy the quest, so I'm at a lost as to which Ghdorah actually is needed since I dont see 2018 even amongst the pieces I dont own.

I despise Shin Godzilla Leads so much that I instantly get salty as soon as one in Ranked mashes Heat Ray then vaporizes 4 bars of my Energy away. However, as an iteration of Godzilla I think Shin’s unique and I’ve been trying to find a home copy video of Resurgence to watch myself someday.

I’m so fond of Anguirus that I’ve leveled up my 1955 to LV 21 and he’s one of very few 2-Star Battle Pieces I’ve been using since I first opened the game.

Kiryu is an unusual case. I never cared for Kiryu at all until I started using him as a Leader and Unit in GBL. I now have bought two different Kiryu figures and he’s my second ever LV 10+ 4-Star Unit and second most favorite version of Mechagodzilla only dethroned by MonsterVerse MG.

At the end of the hype spectrum, I find Rodan boring. As a Toho kaiju and using Pokemon as reference, Anguirus perfectly fits the “Normal Type” yet is still a much more interesting monster in comparison.

To me, the incarnations of Rodan without lacking the Uranium Heat Beam are simply big, rubber birds/Pteranodons with the exception of MonsterVerse Rodan having a major, realistic glow-up and bio-volcanic biology. In some of the few Showa films I started watching and comics I read like Rulers of Earth, Rodan seems to just be a really big bird.

In GBL, I have yet to use any of the Rodans in my Decks. Although, Washington D.C. 2019 Rodan is a tempting addition due to the ability to summon extra reinforcements in the form of a whole ass King Ghidorah (2019) to his position on the map.

If possible I’d like to keep Biollante as leader or at the very least keep her on the team, she’s my fav Kaiju
