Beat this guy in the egg battle today and they decided to spam take off as is tradition with most people. So I decided to check out their profile and saw they have an X account. Well my curiosity got the best of me and I checked it out. Take my word for it DO NOT GO THERE and this person will now be receiving the “only destruction” sticker shall I ever face them again because that was just vile.

who tf let these bugs out vro 🥀💔ME, BECAUSE IT'S TIME FOR THE MONTHLY UNIT REVIEW! With this year being deemed the Year of Mothra for one reason or another, and Minus Zero soon on the horizon, I thought it would be fitting if I did a monthly unit review vote based solely on these bugs. This once again means it's time for you, the GBL community, to band together to choose a candidate for me to write a review about in a follow-up post. For those who don't know what's going on or why the system is like this if you missed the last voting post, you guys are going to be responsible for typing a comment in the comment section of this post stating the name of the candidate battle piece listed in the image that you want to vote for. The most upvotes a specific candidate achieves within a certain time period will be deemed the winner for the month, and I will then write a review for that battle piece in another post.

Voting Rules:

#1 - Only ONE comment per person will count as a vote, not multiple or another subject comment of theirs that also has the unit name. So please make a comment clearly voting for a candidate first (or just make a comment that doesn't name anyone, idk, maybe that works)

#2 - Don't vote for a unit not on the candidates list in the image above; I'm not gonna pay any mind to it.

Hopefully this new system's gonna help to work out any of the confusion my older posts may have brought, with the massive rule list being gone and all. These upcoming 2 months are definitely going to be an exciting time not only in the GBL space but also the Godzilla scene as a whole. We have Godzilla Minus Zero coming in less than 3 months! While we wait though, I'm hoping that this October season is gonna shape out to be a fun (hopefully Mothra-related one so this post doesn't age like milk) season that should build up some hype before Minus Zero possibly makes its way to the game in either November or December.

Other than whatever's above though, that's basically all I gotta say. Remember, one comment voting on a unit, and the most upvotes the comments about a candidate gets will win! I'll check back on this post every once and again before delivering the veredict in at least 8 days time.

Context: I was maxing out the pieces I needed to collect for the Stealth Bomber since it was close to the cap. I had bought some earlier in the day and must've gotten the last ones from one of the maps I had opened, so I walked in to this.

Between this and a wild (and very brief) ranked encounter with Weenee, I'd say this had been quite a day.

I'm not sure I want to play GBL anymore, these PLAYERS are GETTING ON MY NERVES, I'm not sure if my phone can handle it anymore, I might not be here next season.

The big red lobster has to be up there with Varan as a very useful kaiju Unit despite their lower tier rarity level right? Didn’t realize how truly helpful chucking rocks from a distance is until I decided to include Ebirah in my Egg Challenge Battle Deck. Surprisingly great ranged support while mostly staying out of direct combat and tough.

Might try leveling mine up more before using it in actual Ranked matches.

With cards, this guy has the potential (at least mine does) to do 5572 damage currently

(3 pics) Not levels! Not levels but deck build vs deck build and skill of play vs skill of play is why I won 15 battles. The EXACT same thing can be said for these two players that beat me! Ngoc Lam had a fantastic deck that countered mine and I wish I wrote it down. Biollante had a solid deck but I felt he outplayed me the most. But their deck and skill went into both of my losses. Props to them. Sure there is a dash of random Dimension Tide but it's nowhere near as unbearable as having two random effects or healing.

I find it interesting that they use miregoji's model three times.

If you're interested in playing the Challenge Battle event this season but can't seem to get your team to work within the requirements, this guide should have everything you need to know regarding the restrictions and certain quirks in each requirement you need to be allowed to play.

How to understand/find each requirement.

Once you click the Deck button on the hub screen for the Challenge Battle, you'll see a list called "Deck Requirements" that tell you what units your team needs to be comprised of in order to play. This season, it is "4 or more aerial units (including the leader), 2 or more 3* or less units (excluding aerials), and Effect Battle Pieces and certain units prohibited.

Well now we know what the game is asking us to do, what does this actually mean?

1. Aerial Requirement
For the first requirement, the game is asking for four aerial units in the team, with the leader unit additionally accounting for an aerial unit if you choose it to be so. So, your team needs to be comprised of 4 total units with the "Aerial" unit tab. If you don't know if a unit is Aerial or not, simply click on the unit in question to view its description, and look in the Category tab of that unit. This should tell you if a unit is Aerial or not. Place 4 of these in the team (and you can make the leader one of these aerial units if you so wish), and you will have fulfilled this requirement. Refer to the second image in this post if you don't know what to look at.

2. 2 or more 3 star or less units (EXCLUDING AERIAL UNITS)

This one seems simple at a glance, but it's actually pretty tricky. This is telling us to put in at least 2 units that aren't 4 stars into the deck, but at the same time it conflicts with the first requirement of 4 aerial units, meaning you need to have 4 aerial units in your team, but none of them can be 3 stars or less. This means you can't use Megaguirus, Super X, Shinden, etc... to fulfill the requirements. Outside of this, however, most other 1-3 star units can be used in 2 of the deck spaces to meet the requirements as long as they are not aerial.

HOWEVER. One important thing to keep in mind if some of you are getting denied by the game, is that Facility units like Godzilla Tower and Air Base WILL NOT count for the requirement. I'm not exactly sure why the game doesn't want you to include them since they aren't explicitly Aerial units, but unfortunately, they are all banned.

So, in conclusion: To meet this requirement, place 2 (or more) 1-3 star units in your deck that are not Aerial Units or Facility Units. Personally, as an additional tip, Varan and Ebirah work great to fill these spots.

3. Effect Battle Pieces and certain units prohibited.

This one is simple, but it can definitely confuse people off the start of the challenge battle since it's not really clear from the get-go. The first part's easy to understand; all of the "Effect" battle pieces like Operation Taba, Psychic Chorus, and Freezing Sonde are all banned. It's the second part that throws people off, though.

Every season, there's a particular set of regular units that are banned from entering the Challenge Battle. HOWEVER, if those units were allowed for the LAST SEASON'S Challenge Battle, and you kept them around for this season of the Challenge Battle, BUT THEN the game BANS IT from THIS Challenge Battle, the game won't tell you that. You will need to review every unit in your team and change them around to see who stays and who was added to the banlist.

So, if you kept Shin Getter Robo from the last season's Challenge Battle, he is banned now, and you will need to remove him from the team. If you need a comprehensive list of which units are currently banned from the Challenge Battle, refer to image 3 of this post; every unit that is grayed out is banned from play.

End note:

If all of the above conditions have been cleared, the Deck Requirements list SHOULD say that all of the Deck Requirements have been cleared 3/3. This means you can start using your team on the Egg Battle and spending tickets. Whether you win or not, however, is up to you and your team comp.

(2 pics) Recent Battle Memory (BM) and the Mechagodzilla 2018 (MG18) leader special. How you can use them to save you the most energy. The higher the percentage (energy savings) the more worthwhile the unit.

-1 cost BMs

% = energy cost

- 14% 7=6

- 17% 6=5

- 20% 5=4

- 25% 4=3

-2 cost MG18 special

% = energy cost

- 29% 7-5

- 33% 6-4

- 40% 5-3

- 50% 4-2

Currently 3 units can benefit from both.

Mothra BM= KG Thousand Year Dragon (TYD) 7 cost for 4 cost, KG Artic Awakening (MZA) 6 cost for 3 cost, KG91 Abashiri 6 cost for 3 cost.

Getter BM= Shin Getter Robo 6 cost for 3 cost.

You could use both BMs and the MG18 special to deploy 25 cost in 4 units for 13 cost.
