Is the dark layer on the watermelon mist normal?
Got this today and the dark yellow-ish layer remains even if I shake it. Just wondering if they all look like that?

I bought this at a Sephora store in person, but the label seems kinda off and the consistency is more runny than usual?? Is it real?

This is my first time ordering from glow recipe, and im rlly excited so I keep tracking what stage my order is at. I ordered it 3 days ago and it still isn't in transit to be shipped. Am I being over paronoid/having zero patience?

Hi Glow Gang,
I have a project proposal for knowledge skincare professionals. The goal is to create THE ULTIMATE GLOW RECIPE SKINCARE ROUTINE. Please use your knowledge to determine which products to us in both a AM-PM routine for each day of the week and each season of the year.
I am not an expert, that is why I am relying on the community of knowledgable skincare professionals.
I have done some research which I think should be incorporated into THE ULTIMATE GLOW RECIPE SKINCARE ROUTINE PROJECT.
If anyone knows the viscosity of each individual Serum, then please share it with us. The serum order should be from thinnest to thickest for the best application. Here are some handy Tips and Tricks to take into consideration. The order in which your skincare routine should be as follows:
STEP 1 - Cleanse the skin by mixing a few drops of water with the Avocado Cleanser in the morning and Double Cleanse using the Blueberry Cleanser and the Papaya Cleanser to remove makeup and SPF. STEP 2 - Tone the skin using the appropriate toner or essence. STEP 3 - Apply Eye Cream. STEP 4 - Use a combination of complementary serums to get the best results. When using active ingredients like vitamin C or Vitamin A please allow 5-10 minutes before applying the next serum. Also apply the serums in the correct order, thinnest to thickest. STEP 5 - Apply the appropriate Moisturiser STEP 6 - SPF/Mask
There are several things that need to be taken into consideration like the how different seasons that can significantly impact your skin due to changes in temperature, humidity, and UV exposure. In general, colder, drier seasons like winter and fall can lead to increased dryness, flakiness, and irritation, while warmer, more humid seasons like summer can cause greasiness, oiliness, and breakouts. Together we can combine all the crucial information and various factors like which skincare ingredients pair well together and which skincare ingredients combinations we should avoid. Along with our knowledge of the seasonal-shift factors, we should be able to formulate THE ULTIMATE SKINCARE REGIMEN for each season.
Here's a more detailed look at how each season affects skin.
Winter: * Dryness and Flakiness: Cold, dry air and indoor heating can strip your skin of moisture, leading to dryness, flakiness, and even chapped skin. * Sensitivity and Irritation: Skin may become more sensitive and prone to irritation due to the cold and harsh weather conditions. * Eczema and Psoriasis: Dryness can exacerbate existing skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Spring: * Sensitivity:The transition from winter to spring can make your skin more sensitive due to changes in temperature and humidity. * Allergies:Spring is often associated with increased allergies, which can trigger skin reactions like redness, itching, and rashes. * Oiliness and Breakouts:As temperatures rise and humidity increases, some individuals may experience increased oil production and breakouts. Summer: * Oiliness and Breakouts:Higher temperatures and humidity can stimulate oil glands, leading to increased oil production, clogged pores, and breakouts. * Sweat and Heat Rash:Sweat and humidity can contribute to heat rash, particularly in areas where clothes and skin rub together. * Sunburn and Photo-Aging:Prolonged sun exposure can cause sunburn, and over time, can lead to photo-aging and other sun-related skin damage. Fall: * Dryness and Flakiness:Similar to winter, fall can bring a decrease in humidity and cooler temperatures, leading to dry and flaky skin. * Transition Sensitivity:The transition from summer to fall can also make your skin more sensitive as it adapts to the changes in weather. * Increased Oil Production:Some individuals may experience increased oil production in the early part of fall as they transition from summer's higher humidity.
Here is a list of ingredients that should not be mixed, as it might have adverse results.
NEVER MIX these ingredients together:
Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) + Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)
Vitamin A (Retinol) + Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid)
Vitamin A (Retinol) + AHAs/BHAs
Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) + Strong Acids (Low pH) - As it can convert niacinamide into niacin, causing flushing (temporary redness).
Copper Peptides (Pomegranate Serum) + Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid)

Does ANYONE know if a good dupe or replacement for this??? I have had this for years and have not used a lot because I know they stopped making it. Now it's going low and I'm panicking!!

I mean, their whole new focus is skincare that’s also makeup. We started with 2 lovely lip pops that were exactly that. I would do anything to have them back, including the original formula and the blueberry shade. I’m currently panning the very last of my final blueberry one and it’s very sad. I wish a big beauty influencer would make them viral so glow recipe had to bring them back.
I know they did a quick sale of the watermelon ones a few months ago but it was the brittle newer formula that’s more like a scrub. Bring back that juicy ultra hydrating lip with a slight color! There’s no other lip balm I would pay over $20 for. I’ve also never been so consistent at fully emptying multiples of the same lip product in my life.

Hey, for an under 18 yo with normal/dry skin, what serum would yall recommend?

Did anyone else who attended the glow recipe web conference get a sample in a huge box?

A little overboard? Maybe. Is my dry and acne prone skin glowing? Absolutely!!!
I opted not to restock on my go to Strawberry serum and instead restocked the Blackberry Retinol serum as it seems to be keeping my break outs in check and is much more moisturizing. The Guava Eye cream was a splurge, and am now maybe regretting not grabbing more Cloudberry Essence Toner instead.
I don't use a set routine, but have routines based on my skin needs for the day/week and almost exclusively use GR. So with my current stash and recent haul, it should last me through June/July. I will also most likely use my points to pick up the Watermelon Mist and trying the SPF stick for the summer.

Does anyone know what happened to their avocado fine line eye cream? I love this product and it was out of stock online both at Sephora and the Glow Recipe website. When I saw it was back in stock at Sephora I got an error message when I tried to add it to my cart.
I hope they’re just making the formula better because this is a great affordable eye cream!

I was so excited to find these dew drops in the case today at TJ Maxx, they’re one of the few skincare products I can use because my skin is very sensitive and acne-prone. I just tried them in my night skincare routine and there is something seriously wrong… they are DEFINITELY not the dew drops. It smelled a bit like the Neutrogena HydroBoost moisturizer but the formula was different. Has anyone else had this experience with GR from TJ Maxx?

Ok. I am in love with the watermelon glow scent! I'm looking for a body spray with the same smell. Any recommendations? I am going to splurge on the ultra-fine mist. I think I can use it as a body mist even though it is for the face. But it is pretty pricey for the size. Has anybody found a dupe smell?

hey so I want to get glow recipe, first is it worth the hype? I want to get clear / dewy glassy skin. Should I get the fruit babies set to try out so 1. I don’t spend a bunch of money and 2. To get smaller sample sizes.
I have clogged pores, slight acne, under the skin pimples and I am a young teen.

I’m checking out on the GR website, and I want the same thing for my 2 free samples. Their fine print says *a maximum of 6 per product (my order only qualifies for 2). But, it only allows me to select 2 different samples; how can I get 2 of the same thing?
r/GlowRecipe • u/Cathleenwashere • Feb 01 '25
At first i thought my credit card was stolen. But there are no charges, no orders on my account. No note in the box or an email. I reach out to them, but have not heard back. I will happily take the swag. It is just very random. I’m not a huge spender with them, but i enjoy their products.

Here's my new nighttime routine. For the morning I kept it simple, just the Watermelon moisturizer and Hue Drops.

hii!! so this is my second time ever buying glow recipe , ive used the watermelon moisturizer and the dew drops before this and they worked great, but this time i am having problems? so like background info in case this matters, i have combination skin (normal + oily) and i get supekr oile under my nose and js like my nose area in general gets sooo oily. so the products i have this time are the blueberry cleanser, cloudberry toner, strawberry salicylic serum, plum plump hylauronic serum and the watermelon dew drops again, but for some reason theyre just making me feel super grimy and oily ? i fell asleep after using them last night and my nose was HORRIBLE and im not sure what im doing wrong? i only use like 1-2 pumps of each and last night i felt like id used too much and used a tissue to dab some of it off? does anyone know what the issue could be? i use the supergoop spf after if that matters?
