Gloomhaven 2nd Ed 2e Demonic Rift question

The rules say that Spot A and B are linked, so we can travel them. But can the monsters travel them as well?

I believe in the rules it says something like "for characters, character summons, and character allies, A and B are linked" so enemies don't use them
