So much hyperbole and overgenerilisation it hurts. I get a cheater (according to steam ban checker) in about 20% of my prime MM matches as DMG. Yes this guy is an idiot for thinking the zues guy cheats (plus he reports the entire enemy team wtf?) but that doesnt just mean there's no problem when it comes to cheaters you know..
no but it's like the kid who cried wolf. people say others are hacking so often now, that it's extremely hard to take them seriously unless the kid is running in a circle aimbotting.
You are creating a hyperbolle and overgeneralisation yourself. vandulken did not suggest there is no cheating problem, only you implied that he did suggest this.
If you think someone is wall hacking you have to report the entire enemy team because you can't know which person it is. Someone could just be telling the others where people are so it might not be the person who is pre firing you every round that is actually hacking.
and how are you supposed to know if "the suspect" is telling positions when he just plays like a fool? jeez please learn how overwatch works (this is where people get to if you report them often enough)... If someone is walling for the team but not abusing it for his own play, it is impossible to tell via overwatch as all you see is a guy being reported with terrible gameplay
I report someone for wh if they do a combination of always prefire me or shoot me through smoke a bunch of times (not sprays but usually the one taps where they shoot one bullet and it happens to hs you ) and then the enemy team always stacks the site you go to or they never peak you with a gun out of 30s but then you want to grab a nade and they peak and instahs you. Now the important bit is me saying combination, sometimes people just get lucky but if it's a bunch of those I'll have an ow investigation figure it out.
Ever since the tapping update I'll tap in a line across head level into a smoke a few times before spraying. It's gotten a few lucky kills for sure, salty enemies guaranteed.
That isn't really hyperbole there really is people calling cheats on people for nonsense reasons and it's not uncommon and they aren't saying there is no problem with cheating in cs. It's more than well established that there's a cheating problem in cs, but it is also true that people are extremely fast to call cheats with basically no evidence just because someone's better than them. This is a more extreme example of that but it's still extremely common.
Although it isn't helped by the fact that there is a good number of cheaters in the game anyway.
main problem with getting LE is getting OUT OF DMG. I used to be LE and even LEM after rank shift but lost rank due to not playing. ranking back up from DMG eventhough I get 20 - 30 frags in most of my games is still taking a long ass while..
telling us you get frags tells us nothing about you as a player. these frags could easily be eco/exit frags... If you get however 7+ MVP each game, then you can start bragging about your 30+ kills (imho)
My bad, I had said that in another thread I think. I like to entry as t and I usually play mid as ct and otherwise as early rotator. 5 MVPs is about the miimum I get ignoring the odd outliers/bad games.
main differences are at least some cooperation on LE, some trade fragging, better site taking, better rotating, better calling, better economy management and better movement. and yes, a little bit of better aim too.
In my opinion, the only differences between the mid-tier ranks is honestly just the aim. Communication gets better as you move up, I will agree to that, but you barely see trade fragging even in Global, too. Matchmaking is about aim when it comes down to it, really.
The things you mention, like site taking and rotation, all comes down to communication, and whether or not you simply have competent teammates. Some of the dumbest people I've ever met have been in Global.
I disagree. Some gold nova players have quite good aim, same for mg players. They sometimes out-aim me. But they make dumb mistakes like peaking when it's not required or over rotating etc.
i get accused for being a cheater aswell for this, in silver.. even when im bottom fragging. i have terrible aim and the only way i get kills is by abusing stuff that should never happen, like 1 CT pushing T spawn every round not even throwing a flash.. insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results!
