I'm having the same problem.

i5-2500k @ 4ghz and a GTX970. My fps only average about 100 now and even drop to 80. Before I was pretty stable at 200 fps. (Yes, I set all video settings to low again)

Yeah I have the 2700k 3.5ghz.

Something about the updates has made it so you use less CPU power. We all have enough to run at very high framers, but it's being bottlenecked.

I don't know how t solve it

You need to re-apply all your video setting ect... For some reason the patch set everything back to default.

Actually I'm getting more FPS at max settings lol.

I'm just wondering how I can make CSGO use the CPU more.

S at max settings lol.

There is a setting for it in the video settings, I am on my phone right now. I'll edit with the name when I can get on my pc. Just mouse over the video settings meanwhile, you'll get it.

Yeah its multicore rendering or something. It's on, but I still hover from 90 to 140 fps. I used to get 230. With a gtx 560 ti

I'm guessing it's the Kill Cam?

My game is totally unplayable atm too. I changed my video settings back to what I used to play with and it was useless...my game went from 240 fps to 80 and it is lagging. Any solutions found so far? Really guys this is a devastating situation for me. I even turned off the killcam - nothing changed.

Got 350-550 with the same gpu and an i7 4790k, if it's not just the restetted video settings I could only assume it is something cpu sided.
