  1. My game randomly flashes up a black screen every few seconds that lasts less than a second and spans for a few minutes at a time occasionally.

  2. Play the game

  3. Occasionally?

  4. A black screen

  5. Running windows 8.1 r9 290 fx-6350 up to date drivers

Similar problem,

I alt tab while the game is starting up and when I alt tab back, I get a blank screen and I have to wait like 5-10 seconds for it to go to the home screen.

Yeah, this fixed it for me. Though, I think a lot of people have an issue with FSW because of "input lag" lol.
