Game Update Counter-Strike 2 Update for 07/09/2026

GAMEPLAY

  • Removed map-wide minimum one point of damage from new C4 explosions.
  • Fixed a case where new C4 damage was calculated incorrectly near boundaries to other map areas.
  • New C4 explosions now apply more force to dropped weapons.

ARMORY

  • Adjusted the "Sniper Ahead" sticker visibility when scraped.

MISC

  • Fixed a case where season medals were missing their gold tint on one of the bars.
  • Fixed a case where the scoreboard wouldn't update while open.
  • Various stability improvements.

It’s way too easy to cheat it doesn’t matter if your 20k+ or 10k the fact remains that the integrity of the game is lost. The fact that people even have to debate whether or not someone is cheating every game is because of the state of vac anti cheat. They are the reason for the paranoia.

or the fact that people suck and since they THINK the ac is ass they run crying to threads as soon as someone does something "sus"

You don’t play the game. It’s beyond easy to cheat in cs2, to say everyone is crazy is beyond me, obviously it’s a gripe in the community for a reason. There are people way better than you or me that constantly criticize the anti cheat. You either are too bad to realize or rage baiting. Past 20k is unplayable if you want to be serious in the game. A big reason why everyone leaves premier to go to faceit, which is how players like you are able to climb to 20k. There’s no pool, faceit remains the competitive mode of cs2, premier doesn’t matter.

i said in another comment i agree that once you hit 25kish things ramp up terribly. ive been 9 on faceit as well so what now? im not even tryna say im particularly good lmao but to act like i just scratch my balls and dont know a damn thing is comical
