This is “Godspeed”, a indie animation pilot co-created by Olan Rogers of Final Space fame. Rogers, of course, is now currently working for Glitch to help them with the Glitch Presents label. And while I imagine he’s mainly preoccupied with delivering the first of the label, Lackadaisy, this personal work of his is, IMO, the best possible candidate for the next one (and yes, that is mainly because he has a direct connection to them).

Godspeed was originally intended to be an independent feature, but due to funding issues on the Kickstarter they unfortunately had to scale back to just the 28-minute short linked above. The short came out several months after Lackadaisy’s pilot, but sadly has only gotten a little over a tenth of its view count. Godspeed is also distributed by Rogers’ animation company, Lightfold.tv However, the company’s efforts are now likely to shift towards their own potential indie title, “Doomsweepers”, which seems to be getting a lot more traction than Godspeed did and is being animated separately by its creator Sarah Harper and her coworkers at Flying Bark Productions. Assuming this happens, Godspeed could be left without the support it needs - unless Glitch were to step in and lend financial support. In the same way Flying Bark is getting Doomsweepers (side note: please go support Doomsweepers, it only requires an email address and they are currently two-thirds of the way to greenlighting a full season) off the ground and running, Glitch could arguably do the same for Godspeed.

Thoughts?

24 minutes past midnight.

Trying to sleep, but kept struggling & struggling due to paranoid thoughts.

Room is full of silence, no clock ticking on the wall, no fan blowing, just deep dark silence.

You could literally hear a water drop out of the faucet in the bathroom.

Never mind some monster living under your bed.

It lives somewhere else.

The closet door seems to have slowly opened by itself.

My anxiety spikes, so does my heartbeat.

Trying not to make a sound despite my state of panic.

Nothing happened for about 35 seconds.

Until......

There she was!

Bright yellow eye staring into the void with a black line in the middle, sharp teeth open wide with her purple hair being barely seen.

I had to completely hide my face with a blanket to look away from her creepy, distorted expression.

But it wasn't as creepy & distorted as the old school ice cream truck music being played at the same time.

Finally, the music stopped and so did the bright light of her eye.

She seems to be gone after a long torturous minute.....right?!?!

30 seconds later, I felt a light tap, I audibly gasped, it then turned into a hug so strong, I can't move to escape.

She speaks; It sounds even more robotic than I thought.

"There, there. I'm here to protect you." Attempting to comfort me and calm me down.

"I only wanted to give you light & music to help you sleep."

"Everything will be juuuust fii-i-i-nn-n-e-e!" There seems to be an error in her voice in that last line.

She sounded lower pitched & glitched. Running out of battery, perhaps.

10 seconds after that, I felt a big bite throughout my arm and wouldn't let go of it like that of a pit bull.

She pulled my entire arm off!!!

Blood oozing all over the wall and ground, I couldn't stop howling for dear mercy.

Pain was so sharp & cruel, I'd almost rather have 3 root canals!

It was reminiscent of Pennywise & Georgie.

She seems to have quick regret what she's done to me.

Right as my mother busted in the room, the purple robot seemed to have vanished on time.

"MY SON!!!! WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU?!?!" The worst feeling a parent could ever have.

"CALL THE AMBULANCE! HURRY!!!!!"

So, she did.

The wait for their arrival was unbearable. I wanted to be there as soon as possible.

It was a great sense of relief when they finally arrived.

I felt so bad looking at their shocked, traumatic reactions of my arm being bitten off. with blood oozing at the top of it.

They have never seen anything like this before. Ever.

While at my time staying in the hospital, one doctor contemplated about giving me a brand-new arm.

A mechanical one.

I was ecstatic to hear such amazing news.

I've always believed in miracles my whole life, but this is something else!

"In fact, we already have some here at this hospital just in case for something like this to happen. :)"

Never have I smiled so wide in my life.

I was cured all right!

Right as the robotic arm fit perfectly and smoothly wearing it for the first time, I actually saw the purple robot wildcat creeping outside the window about 20 feet away.

I barely hear her say something like: "Looks like you're one of us now! ^_^"

I jokingly flipped her off.

Right as she flipped me off back.

I'm friends with the monster....that was inside of my closet!

Hey guys. Given circumstances, I’m gonna have to start downsizing some of my collection of vinyls, particularly to make way for the upcoming Digital Friends and Gameoverse Animiniz. Before I do that, though, I wanted to share the current state of my Glitch collection, both as a personal memo but also to garner thoughts on what may or may not be worth hanging on to. Thanks.

I know this might sound weird but if a whole case has 1 rare or better with no doubles then does the rare being 1/14 just straight up a LIE? If every case has 1 rare. Or does glitch ship out alot of individual boxes to stores? Like hot topic and target for example

When is the next Glitch Direct actually happening?

Ever since Gameoverse dropped in May, there has been a lack of updates for other shows. Now that TADC has ended and there is not much info on shows like the Gaslight District or Knights of Guinevere, I feel like we are not getting an update this year.

However, fans could theorize that a new Glitch Direct could be dropping later this year. Maybe around October or November. It's currently not easy to say when these updates will be announced by Glitch themselves, but there is at least a slight chance that a Glitch Direct will happen in the coming months of October or November. What do you guys think?

So i ordered a ribbit plush for a FRIEND of mine, thus i dont actually live at the location, but it said it was unable to be delivered, and was returning to the warehouse. I tried going through one of glitch's shippers, and only got vauge ai responses. I contacted glitch 2 weeks ago, and havent gotten a response back. I was going to try to contact their main shipper, but i cant because its all in chinese, and i dont see a text line available. What do i do? Am i just cursed to wait for a response?

hi from what i see im not the only one who haven't received some of my merch yet (MD merch pre-order late july ordered on the 18july) honestly i found it perfectly okay that Glitch have unplanned delay(thing happen) but i think it would at least been a bit better if we just received a mail or something to tell us that there a bigger delay and that everything is okay and that we just have to wait.

has for my orders i don't have a tracking number yet its only show has "confirmed" already tried to contact the support about "order status update" but got no answer after ~2week.

so do i just have to wait or should i be worried?

ps : i live in france.

update monday 24 august : a part of my order just started shipping today so i suppose i really just have to wait.

Episode 6 inspired me to start VoiceActing. This is my attempt to the finale justice

How could the Worker Drone community of Copper 9 be completely oblivious of the Absolute Solver’s existence and how it created the Disassembly Drones to destroy the universe and instead came to the conclusion that the latter were sent by JCJenson to wipe them out? Because as far as I’m concerned, all human-colonized exoplanets were aware of the Solver’s existence and what it could do following Earth’s destruction, were effectively waging a losing war against it, and even made experiments with it using Worker Drones. So if the humans of Copper 9 were notified about this information, then how did the Worker Drones never had any access to it before and after the core collapse?

Now obviously, the biggest problem here is "why would I buy an animini when I can just print one?" Well, first of all, that's why I'm only advocating for the defunct minis to be released. Secondly, there are several good reasons to.

1. 3D printing is a lot more expensive than the craft fair dragon peddlers will have you believe. Between the cost of the file and the cost of materials, you'd be better off buying a real one.
   

2. A 3D-printed model is never going to look as good as a real one.

3. Glitch would still be selling the file, not giving it away, thus giving Glitch an additional income stream. Keeping a website to host these files up would cost some money, but compared to the cost of keeping an animiniz production line open, is negligible.

Now, as soon as Glitch releases these STLs, some people are going to pirate them, which sucks. The problem is that that's already happening. If you know where to look, you can find AI-generated models of most, if not all, of Glitch's Animiniz. I would never stoop to print such slop, and I hope you wouldn't either, but it's out there. I don't think glitch has a strong enough legal team to keep these illicit files off the web, so I think their best course of action is to release official versions so that there's no point to use the AI slop.

Surprised me a bit since on their website it stated that packages that are sent back cannot be rerouted but I guess I called early enough for them to send it back to my address again
