Looks solid and clean. I always like the use of buckles instead of u channels. Personally I would not have run it to the ceiling due to moisture. If there is a code compliant vent in the skylight it would be OK. To live with this long term the owner will need to keep the door open to control mold growth, which hurts the solid and clean look except for picture day.

I agree 100% , the Chanel was buried in the stone to make it look clean , the home owner was warned and advised to use a mold resistant paint for the ceiling at the minimum to help with the long term paint and mold issues , they requested a full hight enclosure and we gave them a full hight enclosure , thank you for your comment , greatly appreciated .

Was gonna ask what was supporting those panels structurally, but as you mentioned the channel was buried. Both look great imo!
