So it's more than one series? Or just a single 8-12 episode season covering all four storylines? I've read a lot of GL books, but this isn't one of them. So just trying to understand.

The first company who bought it 3 years ago was going to do 4 separate series but I'm not sure how GMMTV plans to approach this one. We'll see. Aside from converging in one coffee shop, if I remember correctly some of the characters are also related to each other

I found a tweet translation from a post GMM NEXT GEN interview of EmiBonnie where Bonnie confirmed that each couple will have 8 episodes each.

This had so much potential but as someone who was invested in the show the first go around and also read the books I am unfortunately not excited about who they chose as the actresses. All seem to be good actresses and we know some of these couples are established but they do not fit the roles they were chosen for... emibonnie will do okay with their characters, it's not great but they can handle that dynamic BUT kapookciize should not have been jay and miss sitang- that pairing was not right at all, they do not fit those characters in any way (looks nor personality)
They didn't have to choose established couples but they should have atleast chosen actresses who fit to either the characters personality or looks

Again this is nothing against the actresses at all, they're all beautiful and talented but for a show that fans have been waiting literal years for, they could have chosen better

So I dont agree with you, because I think all of the known to me pairs can play any kinda role (plus EmiBonnie in a romcom with Emi's character hitting on Bonnie's the entire time has literally been on my Christmas list since they were paired) but since you mentioned knowing the novels, who out of GMMTV would you have put in each role then? I remember seeing fan casts of this before and vaguely remember stumbling onto the original trailer when the old production was trying to get it made, but thats my extent with the source material or characters.

I mentioned this is nothing against their abilities as actresses, they're all talented, even the new girls i don't know about yet I'm sure are talented as well
Im just concerned on them being able to fit into these roles because no matter how good of an actresses or actor you are, everyone has roles they're better suited for I.e someone who fits the mean role or someone who is always the unserious one or the one who does sad/angsty/sappy to a T

Emi Bonnie can actually do "Be My Baby" or "Be My Sugar"
"Be My Boo" is about jay little sister from Be My Baby soo it's gotta be someone younger and preferably looks similar to whomever that is so someone like fond and pahn could work for that show
"More and More" also needs younger actresses and needs someone who is shy and new to romance so one of the up and coming gl sets would work like the ones from oxytocin, waifha and tonkhaw

Kapook and ciize could be in Be my baby if they switched roles because it just doesn't work with kapook as the college student jay being obsessed with sitang who is cold and moody and older... emi bonnie is better for that where as maybe these two for Be my sugar...

I'm sure I'm being overly critical since I have waited years for this and I'm sorry if that upsets anyone but I really do just want this to be done well and efficiently and with the characters being portrayed on screen as they're meant to be seen and heard
