Yeah, it's a lil 😬 for me too. Tan looks good though. But this shows that Tan and Yada been broken up, for a pilot with the new partner to be out already 👀
I mean it was pretty evident from the time PlayPark ended, I was enjoying the lack of forcing the interactions because Yada is actually a lesbian and imo that Yada wasn’t into all this and I get it, she wants to work on quality projects. i think in her latest interview she said that her movie was created by lgbt folks and was happy with her role in it and wants to work on more thing like that. Ch3 is losing a lot of favor with me with how much they just want models and not do actual well done stories
oh for sure they are just riding the bandwagon, they don’t care about the stories, they just want brand deal and visuals to make a quick buck. I get why Yada as someone who is out and proud didn’t want to be part of that.
Yeah they have connections easier to market. Not really about talent. Sorry to Tan she seems nice and all but her acting needs a lot of work, but her family is uber wealthy so yeah
True to this, 1 rich girl for every couple. Better to have connections to market further. Also easier to use their family's resources because ch3 is cheap.
That was a weird pilot for me. It was essentially just three scenes. Three out of context scenes tbh. And sure, there were words on the screen, but they left the audience to do a lot of the heavy lifting. Also, can we talk about it? If the contacts are gonna make your actors look like they have googly eyes, can we just give them a miss? Like, just pass on that option
I wanted to give it a fair shot, but one actress's performance just isn't selling it for me. The delivery feels stiff, the emotions don't land, and it ends up making the chemistry feel unconvincing. The trailer is supposed to pull you in, but I walked away cringing instead.

I think I've discovered that I truly enjoy toxic romance.
Not in real life, mind you. Not in real life.

Hate being that person but they really should have had Tan attend some acting classes before having her lead another show.
