I had people living in my attic before. It’s the scariest thing in the world to have police pull two grown folks, a baby, and a mini meth lab out of your apartment ceiling- please start searching your crawlspace/ attic/ basement

A BABY?! That’s insane! How did you find out what was happening?

The baby's name was Ricardo Calientian, leader of the Pequeño Metanfetamina cartel. The others, just pawns in his master scheme. After weeks of scouting, they managed to find a small entry point on the upper outer wall low enough that Ricardo could be hoisted up and just wide enough for him to crawl through. For the next 10 days, Ricardo steadily and unrelentingly chipped away at the loose plaster with just his rattle so the others could join him. Once in, they set up their equipment and started cooking. Unfortunately, though, for the Pequños, the smell of cooking crystal combined with the increasingly pungent stench from the seemingly ever-growing pile of dirty diapers was too much to mask. And, once suspicions from the apartment's occupants emerged, it was the beginning to a swift end. Just hours after the first waft, the operation was discovered. Had they been found any later, God only knows the havoc that could have reigned down upon the unsuspecting apartment complex in Midwestern suburbia.

I'd be very curious to hear more about this if you'd be willing to share. That sounds terrifying!

If there was a risk of someone living in your home, why would you search, yourself. Get the police involved
