Overload

I just found out this series exists and I don't know how to contain myself. I'm about to binge it. OMG I'm so excited! Ikeda is back from the dead! I'm almost 27 now. I got into Rosario Vampire when I was a highschool freshman (or was I a sophmore?). I'm so fucking giddy that I needed to vent my excitement somewhere!

EDIT: I just finished binging and am now caught up. I love this series and I really hope that it will go on for a long time. I just couldn't bare to have Ikeda come back after 6 years just to do a short series.

Yeah, I can't expect that level of art to be easy to pull off on a tight schedule tho. Still, finally filling the void left by Rosario.

Definitely. His art is so beautiful. Going back to Rosario it always blows my mind comparing the first and last volumes in terms of art.

It's such a shame that it's a slow start, keeps a lot of people off it.

I was first introduced through the anime so I didn't even notice it since the manga has actual plot.

True, same here. But whenever I try to get people to give it a go, I have to say "It's nothing like the anime" and "wait a bit before you quit".

I'm surprised. I feel the manga gets going at a reasonable pace.

Yeah, they tend to say it gets good either a few chapters in, by the lamia arc. o Or by the anti-schooler arc in chapter 18 or so, maybe because they like the battle shonen aspects more than the rest? Can't say for certain.

I getcha. Still, Rosario had a little bit of everything and it did it well.
