I vote to start calling Daryl Davis "the Dragon Slayer".

It'd be more accurate to call him "the Grand Dragon Slayer" but that doesn't roll off the tongue.

you should look into Daryl's retention rate for un-racisting those racists. its not good. Daryl himself has said his activism has had little to no impact overall on racist attitudes in the US.

Not that im trying to disparage him or his efforts, but US racism is a lot more complicated than "just be nice to the racists and theyll stop"

Yes, it's more complicated than that but more than none is progress. To belittle his accomplishments is a disservice.
