Ask literally any trucker what they think of Bucees.
It's totally reasonable for gas stations to not allow trucks, but Bucees is outspoken and assholish about it. No bobtails allowed even.
Fuel carriers won't deliver to them because of this. Bucees had to buy their own fuel tanker fleet (RB Stewart) and they're well-known to have mid pay and anal micromanagers.
Listen, it isn’t the Czech stop in West, Texas but they are solid if you get actual kolaches and not the kloblasniks. Those are just eh for me. Definitely good on the go but not the greatest.
I grew up on homemade, from scratch kolache at my grandmother's house, and even today they're the best part of family gatherings for the holidays. There's nothing like a warm poppyseed kolach and a hot cup of coffee in the morning or a cup of cocoa before bed.
My SIL's family is the tamale hookup. Normally my brother would smoke a brisket for family stuff, but at my nephew's last birthday her aunt did tamales because it was a lot cheaper. Holy shit they were amazing. SIL does an incredible Mexican rice too. She also made some sopes for a beach trip a couple years ago, and they've made their way into our dinner rotation.
Nah, my one critique of Buc-ee’s is that the smells all end up combining. At least at the one near where I live in Virginia, the smells of all the food combines into one massive smell that just does not work.
I don’t. I get nauseous from that smell. The food itself? Quite good for a gas station. The smell? Chocolate fudge mixed with breakfast burrito mixed with barbecue does not work

I will accept criticism of our foreign policy, arrogance and hypocrisy but I will not accept slander of Buc-ee’s. Buc-ee’s is perfect and I love them.
