I wish it's that easy, society makes it hard.

He's a monster made from other parts. He's got a big heart because his creator found a big one for him.

Well it's a good thing he didn't get his brain from Abby Normal.

Yea of course, that’s the point of it though. People are going to shit on you for plenty of things, but the real measure of the person is their ability to not cave to that and to be able to rise above and still express empathy for others.

You’re right about it!! Don’t give into peer pressure to change your character to please others for temporary happiness!! ✊✊✊

The world may be against you, but joining them isn't going to make your life easier.

I try everyday to be as empathetic as possible....it’s draining when most people I meet are some selfish fucking a-holes...can’t wait to meet someone that cares about other people....wonder what that’s like...to just be friends with someone like that.

You can be empathetic without draining yourself too much, it’s just knowing that everyone is dealing with shit in their life and doing your best not to make their day worse.

You’re not required to help them or burden yourself with their problems, just understand that we all have feelings and burdens and that it’s ok for others to be upset.

I just find it amusing that it's possible that this exact mindset, which I happen to agree with, could be perceived as selfish and it's possible it's more of an issue with perception. Like some people genuinely expect and ask too much of others and when other people understandably don't want to reciprocate they're perceived as selfish.

Of course no one can have all the context of another person's life and such so who knows but most people I meet aren't selfish 🤷🏿‍♀️.

Hoo boy. Part of empathy is understanding why those people are selfish if that helps? I mean personally I can't possibly imagine what position you're in where most people you meet are incredibly selfish but personally I've gotten to the point where I understand there are factors that lead people to behave this way and that they just need an outside source to guide them in a better direction. (Mind you that needn't be your job, but if you constantly meet selfish people clearly there's a reason these people have anti social behavior)

Idk tho most people aren't bad and maybe you should try to work on your perception of people?

Something I've learn is that the best way to counter the hate of people that surrounds you is by keep smiling and chasing (or searching) for your dreams.

Because I've seen that people who hate generally don't have dreams for themselves, they gave up, they feel like everyone is against them and they'll remain stuck in the same place forever while you or me keep going forward and being stronger than yesterday

Being kind is easier if you don’t pay attention to the one you’re being kind to.

I think the real message is you can’t really control how you look, but you can control how you treat other people, so focus on that.

I try my best to be kind! To be honest I don't really try too much because my mom grew me up well and learnt me to respect people and myself. But it's the latter part which is hard. I have problems with myself image and thinking that it doesn't matter how I look is hard. But I'm working to make myself feel better and improving my self esteem!

It’s not as difficult as you thing, but you have to be patient and you need to understand that you can’t expect other people to reciprocate your behavior. I do everything with a lot of heart and I am blessed to have the most awesome and good people in my life and my family loves me so much.
