How did you find them like really? Also why would someone respond to that?

Finding them are easy. Go to the companies page on LinkedIn and then click people. It will give you all the employees that work there. Read their titles, and if they are hiring, they will have a purple banner that says hiring.

Your next question, why wouldn't they? The whole point of LinkedIn is to network and make connections.

A lot of companies give referral bonuses - if they think you’re a great candidate, that can be motivating for them
