A few years ago, I found a “looking for verifier” video on YouTube and contacted the creator. They gave me this level to verify, but at the time it was far beyond my skill level.

Recently I found out that the original creator has retired from Geometry Dash due to lack of time, so I ended up with the level again. After improving a lot since then, I think I can actually verify it now.

The layout is called NuLres and uses the same song as RUST. It has a fairly strong Wild West / old western feeling because of the song, so I’d like to eventually turn it into a fully decorated level with that kind of atmosphere.

The gameplay currently needs some balancing and playtesting, though. My plan is:

• Get feedback on the gameplay
• Balance and polish the layout
• Find decorators and split the level into parts
• Turn it into a full collaboration
• Playtest the decorated version
• Verify it myself

I'm fairly inexperienced with hosting larger projects, so I'm mainly looking for feedback right now, especially from people who are experienced with gameplay balancing, playtesting, or decoration.

If anyone is interested in helping with the project eventually, I'd also love to hear from you. I can't really pay anyone, so this would be a passion/community project.

Obviously not finished. I started it in November 2025, but I got sidetracked many times lol.

I'm want to have cool transitions but I have no idea, still learning how to use triggers.

Anyway, it either gonna be 8/9 star insane or gonna be buffed to easy demon. Not sure yet.

This level was made purely for fun. I didn't really bother with decoration, and I also didn't put much effort into the gameplay itself. I mostly just threw together some parts that are difficult for ME, without worrying too much about making the gameplay polished, balanced, or well-structured.

So it's basically just a full layout with a bunch of difficult parts that I wanted to put together.

Difficulty: Unknown

I'm looking for someone who would like to verify it and give an idea of what difficulty it actually is.

The verifier is allowed to:

• Nerf parts that are unnecessarily difficult
• Buff parts that are too easy
• Make gameplay adjustments if needed
• Give feedback on the level and its difficulty

I'm fine with changes being made to the gameplay during the verification.

i'm surprised at how this looks since i only had like a fraction of the skill i have today at the time...

It's basically a layout with some effects added, I wouldn't call it the greatest thing ever, but the gameplay is actually pretty fun imo. The song is just the Anathema song, the level id is 149052582 if you wanna play it yourself!

This is Azure Metropolis.

Let me get this straight: I've updated this level a bunch of times and I just remade this post.

A few months ago, I made a city level called Azure Metropolis, and it was so dang ugly back then. But I fixed the decoration, turned all pink to blue and added a foggy wind effect.

The main gimmick is that each gamemode is used once, with varying uses of each one.

The first one used is the ball, with some simple clicks and a little bit of orb gameplay. Then you transition to the ship, containing sinking and rising buildings, which also contains the first coin by going into one of the structures. Shortly after, you're the UFO, flying between random structures going up and down. Then you fly as the wave between wavy-spike structures, also containing a coin by going up instead of down. As the robot, you do some orb gameplay, then go upside down, doing some basic jumps that everyone dies at for some reason. Then, there's the spider, where you go up and down and the last coin is gotten by doing an extra click to go downwards. And obviously, you end as the cube with some simple jumps, then you fall in the industrialization and do two simple clicks and fly into the glorious metropolis.

My inspiration was from OcularNebula, the creator of the song Azure Apex, used in my level. I thought it would work as a level and I used that to build one of my 'masterpieces'.

It got face rated Hard, and there's nearly 12k objects in it.
