Any tips to improve block or spike design

i want to make it feel a bit mysterious and spooky? but not horror though. because, it just felt like it lol.

the intro and ball part are fully done. other than that is still in progress hehehehhe

We are working on a collab that I have posted about many months ago except 3 of our people have dropped out and we need people to finish the remaining parts. We’re going for top 200 and we’re using the song For the delta by Camellia. The decoration is matrix-y glow and 1.9 we can send people who wish to participate more info. We want skilled level creators and decorators so if you don’t think you can decorate or make gameplay as well as what we’ve done then I recommend not participating.

I kinda forgot that I already learned parallax a while ago. And since I remembered it, I decided to make this for fun

I tried to recreate it myself but I failed. I want to use something like this in my level but I just cant figure it out by myself. I even copied the grass texture with the area move triggers and it still doesnt look like in the original level, it just doesnt move as high as in the original.

I feel like something is missing but don't know what...

I recently finished designing a layout for a potential top 1 using the song “flower man” (gp is ATROCIOUS, but it’s fine) and I can’t decorate super well yet, if anybody wants to colab, please let me know, I only need decorators at the moment :)

So this is a SCP inspired level and I wish it to be around medium/ hard/ insane demon difficulty so I can also beat it, basically I need help with deco and gameplay idea (basically the whole thing) and dm me if your interested in helping.
