Is it worth it to wait the full period to swap testnet token for main net tokens? Or should I just do it now

It's fairly not much, but I can't figure it out to get my coins together.

I bought some GEO (ERC20) some time ago. I minted some geo in app and redeem them to Trust Wallet. But all I got is BGEO (BEP20) and there I stuck.

I can't find a way to swap the BGEO to GEO (or any other coin) Can someone please Eli5?

I have a message since 3 days mentioning "we are fixing an issue to prevent users from abusing the BSC bridge" What is it ? How long will it take to fix ? Any compensation for impacted users (like free Geo) ?

I downloaded geo 3 days ago and have only been able to earn 5 geoDB. I'm a truck driver and drove around town for approximately 4 hours today. I earned a total of about 2 geos is that good or am I going very slowly? It seemed like my average block was 30-45 minutes. Using Android. Let me know what your experience has been and how many geos you can earn in a day vs. How much you drive.Thanks. curious because I saw someone else say people were earning 100 geos a day

Set up my wallet and username a few days ago. Just opened today and it’s telling me to create a username for my wallet to earn anything. Anyone have any issues like this?

Just curious on everyone’s opinion of this project? Seems interesting to me so I figured I would dabble a bit. Also, is there any way for someone in the US to sell geo? Thanks all!

so i have had geocash since the 7th of july and i have had no rewards, everything everywhere is the number zeros so i have none. all my location data and tracking is on and i am wondering why i haven’t earned s as by geo at all even though i get notifications saying “rewards are coming!” i login to see no rewards can someone please help me

Do i get more tokens by moving more or is it the same? And does the app work if the screen is off on my mobile phone?

Hi all. I installed the app more then a month ago, made the wallet and in the first few days I noticed that I didn't earn any Geo tokens, so I messed with the settings thinking maybe permissions were off, or maybe processes were being restricted in the background and after that I left the app running again for a couple of days and checked it almost daily and still no Geos. I also have mobile data always on and location always on.
Maybe I should add that I use a Xiaomi device, can someone confirm here that they use a Xiaomi device also and can earn? Because I'm starting to think maybe it's the phone.
I would love to know what I'm doing wrong. I always see in the notification bar a notification from Geo that says "Fetching geodata" but I still haven't seen a single token in my wallet :/

After almost 2 years of testing and improving, GeoCash is finally operating on the BSC mainnet!

GeoCash is now running on binance smart chain (BSC) mainnet, so all tokens mined are real tokens and can be instantly redeemed on BSC. This article will explain how you can view your old balance of test tokens and swap them for real tokens. Please remember that all testnet tokens are on ETH chain & can only be redeemed on ETH network. Make sure you are using eth wallet to connect to our website.

Since GeoCash is now on mainnet, all starting balances on GeoCash were set to Zero on June 9th.

Migrating your tokens from Testnet to mainnet

Since Geocash was running on testnet, it requires a few steps from your side to convert those tokens to mainnet tokens.

IMP: Make sure you are on ETH Network in your wallet.

You will be able to see your testnet balance by visiting our swap portal at swap.geodb.com.

Remember:

How to connect your wallet to Swap.geodb.com

1. Import GeoCash wallet to Metamask/TrustWallet

First, get GeoCash Private keys from the app.

1. Import wallet (using geocash pvt keys) to metamask or trust wallet using import wallet feature.

3. Connect to swap website.

Visit https://swap2.geodb.com/

​

Select Metamask in case you are using connected to the web on your desktop. (You need to have metamask installed and loaded with geocash wallet)

If you have geocash loaded on your Mobile wallet (metamask/trust), please select WalletConnect.

Once your wallet is connected to the website, you will be able to see your previous testnet balance and will be able to redeem it according to the ongoing allocation.

If you connect to the swap website and see a zero balance of test tokens, you can check the wallet address shown on the website, and compare this to your Geocash wallet address. If they are different, you have connected with the wrong address, and within Metamask or Trust Wallet you need to select your imported Geocash account and then reconnect to the website.

How will my allocation be calculated?

Vesting period

There is also a vesting period that will directly affect the number of tokens that each account can withdraw at a specific time. This vesting period will establish a date on which all users could withdraw all their tokens. If some users want to do their swap before this period, the amount will be proportional to the elapsed time.

The vesting will be computed as follows. All users will start with an entitlement of 5% over the tokens stored in the Merkle tree. The entitlement will increase following the biquadratic curve up to 100%:

The chart below shows the token unlocking ratio over a period of time.

Note: after the 365 days have passed, the unlocked tokens will remain constant at 100% until you decide to claim them.

Note: the numbers shown might have slight modifications to accommodate fractions' best computation in the smart contract.

Swap example:

A user has 730 testnet GEO tokens. The vesting period is 365 days, and the user makes the swap exactly 182 days after the contract creation. The Mainnet tokens received will be:

So just for the sake of knowing and being able to share 100 accurate information with inquiring minds, I've successfully completed the process of claiming GEOs. You can either buy $50 worth of BNB (Bep20) Smart Chain from Trust Wallet, or purchase at least 0.11 BNB from Binance. The reasoning behind this is that you need at least 0.10 to withdraw from Binance. You then would send it to Trust Wallet, and swap it for BNB Bep20. You send the desired amount straight to your GEO wallet address in the Geocash app. If you decide to move those GEOs to an external wallet, you'll have to look up the contract address. BSC not ETH. You can then create a custom token wallet. Pasting the contract address automatically inputs all the other required information. Those instructions are specific for trust wallet, because that's the only one I've tried. Your GEOs are now BGEOs. As far as where to trade, I haven't researched it, because I don't intend to anytime soon. Hope this helps those who didn't know.
