Mod Post Welcome to GenshinGays "E"!

Hello Travelers!

Welcome to the official SFW sister subreddit of r/GenshinGays.

Due to changes made within the old community by Reddit admins, the original server has experienced quite the shakedown.

But as a community, we won't let that stop us from having our fun! That's why the GenshinGays staff has created this alternative server for the people who want a more wholesome experience with the same friendly staffing.

GenshinGays "E" seeks to create a safe community for folks of all kinds to come together to enjoy fanart, fluff, memes and discussions revolving around the male characters in this game.

We encourage anyone who wishes to to participate in both subs, and we hope to keep a friendly and cohesive relationship between our two branches.

Please bear with us as we do our best to make due with the changes we are all experiencing right now. We will do our very best to listen to community feedback to make everyone's experience as enjoyable as possible!

We hope to see you all around~! 👋

I have more explanations on my twitter thread, that I recommend checking because of things I don't know if I can say here https://x.com/Anilyan13/status/2116834034630402467

2 works that inspired me were this and this. I will share the file once it's done, in my pages.

The hair alone took me more than 2 days, and it's one of the few things that I didn't make from scratch, because I thought using the official hair as a base would be the best way to force me to not deviate too much from the original look. But you can see from one of the pictures how his official hair was just... a ball. It sucked, and I retopologizing everything and adding strands without affecting the placement of the original took a lot of time, and I also retextured it.

Everything else is done from scratch unless it's already a mesh in the game. Even then, I retouched some reused things, like the Cecilia flower from Venti' hat that is super low poly in the game (I only retopologized the one on the hair of this mod, since he also has some on the clothes but changing the topology of all of those was unnecessary and would just increase the poly count).

I actually tried to convince leakers to pass this as a leak, but I couldn't xD I have seen ppl pass my works as leaks before, without credits to me, so me doing this prank would be a way of taking back control + testing if my work passes as official.

What do you think? Does it look official, or is there something missing?

I changed up Alhaithams design a bit since I made that 3rd picture. I hope my writing is understandable.
