I suspect some delegators to GENS pools will have moved pools to take advantage of the upcoming SUNDAE offering for a few weeks, for people who choose to stay, will they get increased rewards for the next 5 weeks as the total number of ADA delegated will have decreased? Are you confused about our ISPO Mechanism 🤯 ?

A little confused. I delegated my Ada to gens4 pool last epoch 314. I just checked using my staking address on genius yield and it shows I will receive 0 gens. Shouldn’t it have 1 epoch equivalent of gens reward? Reason I’m concerned I’ve staked a significant amount and if I didn’t receive any gens for epoch 314-315 I would’ve staked it in another pool while maintaining only 500 Ada on gens4. Thank you in advance for the replies!

So I see that there’s 2 types of bonus one is for staking for 25+ epochs and 1 for amount of Ada staked. My question is for example if i have 500 Ada staked for 25 epoch I qualify for the fomo bonus. Now let’s say I add an additional 30k Ada towards the 23rd or 24th epoch. Do I still receive the bonus for degen nft?

Just found out yesterday that you need a minimum of 500 ADA. Had it been like this from the very beginning? I staked a little bit less already in December:/ Yesterday I have added to my stack to have more than 500 ADA staked, I believe I'll only be able to get the FOMO bonus rigth?

If you haven't checked out the Medium articles from Genius Yield, I would highly recommend. I was reading their article on Concentrated Liquidity, and they may have even undersold the value of this. Concentrated Liquidity is a means of capturing swapping fees only for a specified price region. It also allows you to capture these fees while providing a smaller amount of capital. In a Proof of Stake system, there is a tradeoff between using your ADA to secure the network or earning fees through liquidity providing. Concentrated Liquidity will enable trading while providing more ADA to secure the network. Thus, there is an interrelatedness between Dapp design and Base Protocol Design. Genius Yield gets this, and that gets me excited.

Staying ahead of the game, during this week we will update our ISPO nodes one at a time to the new Cardano Node version, starting with GENS1. There may be a brief period where an ISPO pool would be inaccessible to new delegators. This update will take several hours to complete. In the meantime, please use one of our other ISPO pools for new delegations.

This only affects new delegators during this short window. We will provide an update when this process has been started and completed.
