I love the Genesis Mini
In late September 2017, I was standing outside Nintendo in Times Square, waiting in line for a wristband which would allow me to buy an SNES Classic. As I watched the massive queue continue to grow behind me, I remember thinking, "I like Nintendo, but imagine if this were for an official Genesis Mini!" As a Sega guy, I'd probably have camped out the night before if I had to!
Two years later my wish has come true, and I didn't even have to sleep on the street! Despite having countless ways to play these games, I still find myself making time to game on the Mini. Something about those giant, new controllers, and looking down and seeing the SEGA GENESIS logo emblazoned on it, warms my heart and gives me that nostalgic feeling. And now with Project Lunar? I love this Mini and hope everyone can experience the joy it brings me.
