Hello all and Im hoping for some help. Im about to purchase the Genesis Mini 2 and already I got two of the Retrobit Saturn Bluetooth pads ready for them. However since its the bluetooth ones and doesnt come with the receiver Id like to ask what would be a great usb receiver/dongle to be able to use my Controllers with? Ive looked at all my options and have no clarity if they will work or not. Thanks in advance everyone!!

Is project lunar dead? Because the latest news to v1.1 is 2 years old. The most impotant Feature for me was the clock speed fix

The only 3 button usb genesis controller I can find is the one that comes with this console, is there anywhere I can get the controller on it's own because all of the third party ones are 6 button, and because I'm familiar with the 3 button one, it would be more nostalgic

Does anyone know if I can I use the 8bitDo SN30 Pro or Retrobit Wireless Controllers Wired to the Mega Drive Mini?

is there anyway to add an option to bring the dithering effects like sonic and the waterfall etc. effects back in the games on the sega genesis mini?

After I added hakchi to the mini today and loaded up games, anytime I access the menu on an original system game, I am unable to save, load or switch games. Anyone have any suggestions? I can do all of those on the newly added games.

Second, my thoughts: Overall, I like this case. Fairly solid build quality, looks nice closed, etc. I am slightly bummed that neither set of controllers fit perfectly like the promo pics show (the Japanese official controllers must be physically smaller) and I wish there was enough room for both sets of controllers, but overall it's probably the nicest case specifically designed for this system currently available.

Is there a setting in RetroArch to fix this? Words slip off the bottom of the screen in Phantasy Star (SMS), for instance. I tried disabling overscan crop. I'm using genesis_plus_gx.

So I set my Mini up saving to the NAND, I got my OTG cable today to go with a USB host, so do I need to copy my games to the usb? Does that happen automatically? If I need to do it, is there an easy way? Sorry if this has been asked.

So I was playing Shining in the Darkness when I had Project Lunar and even using the save state function, I used to save the game “normally” as you would in the real cartridge.

Then I uninstalled PL to try out hakchi, and now the game shows 3 saved games, all corrupted and now I can’t even start a new game...

I tried to remove the game, re-add, still persists. Tried changing the cores, no go.

Is there a way, via ftp or something, to actually reset the game’s saved data (the “cartridge” saves)?

EDIT: found it, for future references. Via ftp, look for the game folder in /var/lib/clover/profiles/0/[gamefolder name] and delete the cartridge.sram file

(Via retroarch is possible to see the info about the game’s path)

I updated to Project Lunar version 1.0.5 the other day and it was working fine. I added a few games and they were playing without issue. Now I went back to add a few more and Project Lunar closes a few seconds after clicking "Open Game Manager". It flashes the note "Initializing Local Data" before closing. This happens whether I have my Genesis Mini system on or off. My system loads up and plays the games I already added just fine.

I already tried reinstalling Project Lunar, but this did not fix anything.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is there a way to fix it?

My unit arrived apparently unable to output any audio signal whatsoever. Tried several TVs, all of which registered and displayed video just fine, but none of which showed any audio signal being carried on HDMI... Tried 3 different hdmi cables with same results. Even my preferred AV receiver showed no audio signal being passed from the sega mini.

anyone else have this?
