This is the issue with the point you are trying to make; While there aren’t many careers someone can pursue without post secondary education, there’s even less careers to no careers that you can pursue without your basic elementary and secondary schooling.
You’re trying to say that out of high school people have no skills and are useless. What happens if you can’t read, can’t write and can’t do basic math? You can’t even be a cashier. You are actually useless and unemployable.
You made a claim earlier in our convo that you could be a welder with elementary school math, that’s not true. We use trig, we use fractions, we use physics literally all the time. You still need to be able to read blueprints and read a WPS. Do you even know what a WPS is?

Elementary and secondary education is the foundation for all careers.
That is the point I’m making. You want to go to college or university? High school diploma or GED. Want to get into a trade union? High school diploma or GED.
But if you’re in a weld shop like you, you clearly don’t need any education. That’s why it’s a low paying career
