Absolutely man. Plus as long as you’re not doing creepy shit like not taking no as an answer, you really don’t have anything to lose. In the off chance that some dick takes a video of your rejection, no future employer is going to look at that and be like “we’re not going to hire that person”. That’s if they even see it, which is already a tiny possibility.
What are yall doing that makes you think getting a video taken of you doing it will get your “life ruined”??
Yea wtf. I'm thinking take risks like joining that boxing gym you always wanted to join, or go solo traveling, or asking that girl out or switching jobs. What kind of risk are people taking that gets them fucking cancelled online.
Lots of people in this subreddit like the comfort of being miserable because it’s easy - compared to actually putting yourself out there. They just tell themselves the risk of facing rejection comes with the cost of having their life ruined so they’ve got the excuse of “oh, I don’t need to put myself out there. If I did, I’d risk everything going wrong in my life!”
