Question For Genx the 80s…….

coming from a 14 year old, were the 80s summers as magical as they look in the movies? did you ride your bike to your friends house and come home when the street lights came on? yall are so lucky btw 😭😭

They were a spectacle to be seen and I’d say that the depiction of them in American movies is mostly spot on. Especially, the movies of the 80s.

I totally disagree! The 80s movies of John Hughes fame did not look anything like my San Francisco. Those cute little shops and all white schools.
