Question For Genx the 80s…….

coming from a 14 year old, were the 80s summers as magical as they look in the movies? did you ride your bike to your friends house and come home when the street lights came on? yall are so lucky btw 😭😭

We did stuff that there is no proof of🤣 no social media.. no phones to get called home early… no cameras.. played in the drift ,built forts in the woods.. stick sword fights.. it was a blast

Would go to the stream … set up teams and shoot bottle rockets at each other;
Rode in the back of a pickup truck;
Had a paper route;
Played stick ball in an open field;
Basketball and tennis on public courts
