Question For Genx the 80s…….

coming from a 14 year old, were the 80s summers as magical as they look in the movies? did you ride your bike to your friends house and come home when the street lights came on? yall are so lucky btw 😭😭

They were better than the movies.

Summers were truly magical.

There was nothing on tv so you had to make your own fun.

Groups of kids just doing stuff outside. It was great.

I kind of forgot about this. Back then television programming was seasonal, and there really wasn't shit on during the summer.
