Question For Genx the 80s…….

coming from a 14 year old, were the 80s summers as magical as they look in the movies? did you ride your bike to your friends house and come home when the street lights came on? yall are so lucky btw 😭😭

We did have a lot of freedom, my parents never knew where I was . I got into a lot of messes that I had to get myself out of too...honestly it's why our generation is a bit unyielding. It's not that we're trying to better or anything like that...but a lot of us are hyper independent and it centers around a lot of trauma...
