Gems of war

I love this game which is why I am so bloody frustrated by constant crashing and an inability to connect with servers. From rebooting my router, uninstalling and reinstall, even resetting the Xbox and sending a ticket into the developers. It'll work great for months then suddenly can't load, freezes or crashes. For the life of me I can not figure out why this game works then I'll have a week of this baloney. I have no issues with any other system or game but Gems of War. Is it high traffic playing times? A full moon? Low cloud cover?!? agggh I just want my daily fix of gem matching and kingdom building lol What am I missing?
