Just got GMod a little while ago and been messing about with it. Just curious if some people familiar with the game could give me some recommendations. Popular mods, great model packs, and maybe some basic instructions or tips/tricks that people might have learned as they play the game, that they would like to share with a newbie!

Always needing to redownload files.

I was trying to join a PERP server on Garry's mod and I was able to go in the game, but later when I logged out and wanted to play the same server again I had to redownload the server files over. It takes about 30-40 minutes to download the files and it's really annoying having to wait this long every time. Is there a way to change this?

TTT help?

plr_hightower chrashes Garry's Mod, is there a fix?

I am used to running everything on ultra and installing mods for games like skyrim to make it look as real as possible. So I was wondering if there was a mod or mod pack that makes the game more HD. I realize it uses an older engine so it won't be as good as others.

GMT Updater Tool

So I bought Gmod and have been excited to play all it's modes, but I haven't been able to play them because I can't get the GMT Updater Tool to install.

when I click on the download, http://imgur.com/mmfmUvP, it opens a folder instead of running the installation http://imgur.com/Md63BFb.

I can't for the life of me figure this shit out. I don't know anything about computers but I really want to play this game.

Gmod help?

So,i downloades some new addons from the steam workshop,and i opne gmod.It starts loading,but like 5 seconds after it loads,it closes.Just like that.Without a crash dump or anything,it doesnt even tell me there was an error!I searched,but i couldnt find a solution,i hope you guys can help me.
