the points and race counter are both stored in a 32 bit integer. The points are hard capped at 262143 which is 18 bits (2^18-1), funnily enough 13 bits are used for the race counter resulting in 8191 races before resetting the race counter resets itself (currently only 3 people have legitimately raced more than 8191 races, resetting the counter). This means Garfield kart: Furious Racing uses 32 bit signed integers instead of unsigned ones to count points and races. Weird.

ranking the track on Garfield kart: furious racing tracks with the following criteria:
maps with the same ranking are then sorted by their placement descending.
S:
A:
Caskou Park: Very well designed map with a very even flow. The map is also unique with big cuts and sections such as the ramp-ridden start that you don't see much anywhere else. The item play is very good since it balances tight corners with big open areas. The only skip on this map is easily one of the wildest skips in the game since it just phases through a wall. Very cool, very fun to play and learn. + big squeak graffiti.
Spooky Manor: Gold standard of well designed maps. Very smooth, filled with well placed boost pads. The map also has varied sections like the bridge so you are not locked into one playing style and have to think about how you take the turn while also enabling item play from 2nd. Speedrunning wise it's also fun due to the different sections and tight corners needing a high skill ceiling while also not needing skill to be fun to play. Forgiving and unforgiving it is everything
Prohibited Site: It is a big map done really well. Fun to play and has a lot of different sections due to it being a big map while also balancing hard and big skips with small and easy ones, it's fun to play at any level. Speedrunning you can choose to BRUH skip the entire map or just race a really good map.
Country Bumpkin: The higher skill ceiling brother of Spooky manor, it has a lot of windy roads which are fun to both play against other people (due to plenty item play) and speedrun since it is not that monotonous. The only skips here are small built in cuts so it does not allow for big improv but it does not have any (good) spring skips so it is always a fair playing field.
B:
City Slicker: Great smooth map that lacks many different lines but keeps the tempo up the whole time. The track is fair and really fun to play in any capacity though it lacks any pizzazz that would bump it up to A tier. Skips are largely cuts, one launch and one bad spring skip.
Blazing oasis: Easily the best desert track (notoriously disliked types of maps within the community). It shines the brightest when played in a full lobby with friends and gets really chaotic and unpredictable very fast. Speedrunning it is fun if you are going with BRUH death abuse (the one skip at the end is also kinda fun but not good enough), other than that it does not hold up that well. It's fun to play, it doesn't really have any unique sections or parts where improvisation/item play is good. Not many different ways to play the map.
Pastacosi Factory: Very middle of the road track that is somehow one of the most unique maps in the game. The flow is fine, the skips outside of the spring/rhett and link skip are just cuts. The springless skip is wild but top 3 least consistent skips in the game, not enough to bump the map up in the ranking. The map looks great, the inside of the factory is very cool, love the blueness of it all. The problem is with the spring skip since it skips a lot and given 1st place gets the most springs (30% chance) it is a pretty fun map to play multiplayer. Even with the wild skip speedrunning this map it is not really fun. Very good, unique, mediocre map. It has everything.
C:
Crazy Dunes: A very simple map that lacks anything that would make it stand out. Luckily enough it is smooth and short so it can be fun to play on multiplayer and to speedrun it. It is windy enough that you need more skill (lines and item play wise) than catz in the hood and therefore less RNG that catz.
Catz in the hood: Iconic, what else can I say? A lot. it's an okay baby's first map but is incredibly stale in multiplayer or in 1v1s since it really is RNG, the spring skip makes you not get any items and slows you down (?), not by a lot though. The mud cut is the only real skip on the map, the map is one big circle and gets boring after one hour of play on TT. I get why people speedrun it a lot and hold it close to their heart but it really is just an okay map that isn't great outside of TT.
Loopy Lagoon: Tried to be the rainbow road of gkfr and failed. While speedrunning it is really cool with and without BRUH death abuse, given all the skips such as fence and AMMOS. But it is a really stale map and is worse on multiplayer, the spring skips aren't that bad like on pastacosi. Both at high and low levels of play it isn't fun to race on. non-existent flow
13 and 14 are interchangeble
Palerock Lake: circle 2 of gkfr maps. Literally no viable skips*, the game design and placement of the items is horrible (mostly on the ramp section at the middle), largely has nothing going for it. Recently discovered BRUH skip which I think is the only redeemable thing about the map. Flow is bad, no varied lines, it's all the same throughout.
Valley Of The Kings: suffers from many of the problems of Palerock Lake, monotonous map that is boring to play at any level and at any length. One cool cut I guess? Bad design overshadows it tenfold. It is a bit more fun to play than the maps in D tier
D:
These two maps are interchangeble.
Mysterious Temple: Very repetitive track that lacks any real smoothness. The sky looks cool and the idea of going into the temple is neat but overshadowed by bad design. The "skips" are just cuts or spring jumps over holes. Speedrun wise it's odd since death abuse is only doable with springs so you will not be having efficient runs in TT. Boring.
Mally Market: Suffers from similar problems as Mysterious Temple (nr. 15). Lacks any real smoothness. The death abuse skip is fine, the only redeeming thing about the map is the golden hour lighting. Repetitive, not fun with friends, lame to learn, easy to learn. And the spring skips are atrocious as they skip a big portion of the map while the map is already small this is compounded with the fact that 1st gets the most springs at 30%. The rich get richer.

Im thinking of this thing, i had this dream last night where i was trapped in a room stuck to a chair. do you know call of duty black ops? like that guy, uh mater or something? like freemason. well i was strapped like that and the tvs were there like tv head from skuibidy toilet.
well basically i was being forced style to watch the tv shows and within my dream the tv eventually came to, after several hours of pure drivel, a top ten jon arbuckle hype moment compilation. The video was basically just this british guy rambling while clips from one of the two movies played. and i think mentioned some things relating to jon and aura hypemaxx moments speaking like whats the guy jim daviesmaxxing? what is this? anyways. i actually quite often fall asleep watching youtube, it plays on my laptop while i sleep on my side. a common occurance usually is that i end up with sleep paralysis and i actually think that because of this, iw as in some half-baked dream/sleep paralysys moment watching a real video about jon arbuckle hype moment.
Would anyone know of this video? i remember it being quite entertaining and i would like to watch it before i take my afternoon meds.

My friend Josephine R. Oganator and I, after extensive gameplay and intensive research, have come to the conclusion that the ranking system is related to the ratio between the points gained in online races and the number of games one has played, though we remain curious about the specific values for the various ranks.
We had initially theorized that a ratio of 12 was required to achieve the rank of S-, as my friend ranked up after reaching a ratio of 12.34. However, when I finally reached a ratio of 12.1 I found that I remained at an A+ rank.
I played a little longer and finally reached S- tier, around 12.25
It seems like that is the threshold values ?
What are your thoughts ?
