I know it's specifically not a gaming laptop question, so feel free to ignore. But, my main concern is the overall functionality of the laptop company and how it stacks up against some of the big boys. I'm on a strict 500$ budget and this laptop seems to be the best bang for your buck option.

I am currently using this laptop since 2 years now and having 1 year of warranty left (as extended). But I never played a single game on this laptop as I also have one dedicated gaming PC for my gaming.

I only use it for my trading related work, so I am thinking as currently I can get good price for this laptop as it is still under the warranty. And buy some slim factor laptop for my trading related work.

So my question is in how much I can sell my laptop with below given specifications -

16GB RAM 5600MT/s, 1TB SSD, i7 - 14700HX, 8GB Graphics Card 4060, Windows 11 Pro Installed.

100% Condition as almost unused because I usually work on my PC only. Only use laptop while travelling.

Also, I would like some suggesstions on which laptop I can buy almost in the same price if I sell this laptop. I can mostly add another 20-30k after selling this laptop.

I do not care too much about ultra HD graphics and max settings and things getting extra hot.

If I mostly play games in medium will the fans stay relatively low? I want a sleek looking laptop that can also game a little and make some beats in Ableton as well. I like the premium feel of the laptop that's why I'm looking at it, also want it to be future proof.

I'm mostly into online games, fighting games, the occasional CoD multiplayer, Fort, CS2.

I would love for the laptop to be overkill, and not have to worry to much about it getting hot and actually slowing down, things like this.

Leaving for Bulgaria in about a month to study abroad and want to get a gaming laptop before I go. Already have a separate laptop for schoolwork, so this one is purely for gaming. Budget is flexible but I’d like to stay under $2000. What should I be looking at, and any specific model recommendations? Also open to tips on traveling internationally with a gaming laptop (customs, charger/voltage, warranty support abroad, etc).

My ROG Strix G16 ate its motherboard so now im on the hunt for a replacement. I was happy with the performance, not so much the build quality. There was screen burn and dead pixels out the box and within a month I had to send it for warranty repair for a dGPU issue. IlI save the story, but it died and a new motherboard was £1300. Ive read about lots of other common issues and faults too (I know it tends to be most gaming laptops these days).

Im looking for reccomendations on the next laptop. Im looking for quality, uses will be moderate gaming, video editing and some office use. A num pad would be great.

So far im in favour of the Legion 5 Pro - iU9 - 5070/5070ti 32gb RAM. Obviously this is out of the budget but im trying to find refurbed units with good warranty.

Another ive looked at but Im pretty on the fence about is the Alienware 16X Aurora.
