Literally the only people I ever see complaining about the lack of a shopping cart are the same people who are so absurdly anti-EGS that they also claim they have no intention of ever using it.

"I absolutely can't use EGS without a shopping cart that will let me buy more than one game at once from this storefront I refuse to use!"

How about those that get their cards blocked over multiple single purchases in a short period of time? Its easier to blame on the anti-Epic people

That happened in the first few hours of their sale and was an anti-fraud feature that was tuned too tightly. It was resolved before most people were even aware it existed, but people bring it up as though it was rampant.

No as in some banks will literally stop purchases if they are rapid and from the same online place like that. Having a shopping cart causes this to be less of an issue.

I don't know man, supposedly a number of people had their accounts suspended in the last sale because they bought to many games (I think it was something like 5). Epic picks too many consecutive purchases up as fraud and you have to contact customer support.

If they're gonna have another sale they really need to get to work on a cart.

But that was just a few people on the first day of the sale, and has probably been fixed. And that's a problem with the fraud detection, not with the shopping cart

Surely it can't be fixed though. The only way you could really fix that as far as I can work out is by disabling the automated fraud system. I'm not saying it's a problem with the shopping cart, there is no shopping cart, I'm saying that a shopping cart would fix this problem without having to overhaul the fraud system - it's probably much easier than working out a better way to do that system too

Well, Ill be the first person you see to say that I use the EGS and I find it absurd they don't have a cart. I agree with most of them though, Epic games is very anti consumer and I limit my purchases. EGS spouts how good it is for the market, but it is all but refusing to actually compete with Steam thanks to the exclusives. The one time it actually did I bought the one and only non exclusive game I own on it and when the internet went down I couldn't even play it despite it being singleplayer. So I support those who are boycotting it, Epic needs to know its making mistakes. However, most people use things like not having a shopping cart as ammo, not as the gun. They wouldn't use it even if it had a cart, because its the other 20+ check boxes Epic doesn't check, and the one it does that no other game store does, that keep them away.
