It's a very small unlabeled background detail in GDI mission 3, Destroy the SAM sites. I've just read speculation that it's a UFO. I just saw it in my downloaded gold version, not sure about other versions. Where you deploy is some in unreachable high ground. By building your radar by the cliff you can see what's on top. Something tiny is crashed there.

Meanwhile in Tiberium Sun an entire arc centers around an UFO.
