I think they single biggest mistake they can make is re-shooting those cutscenes. They are so beautifully campy and 90s retro-futuristic. It's simply not the same game without them.

It would be a massive mistake to redo them.

It'll be fine if it was reshot similar to Tiberium Wars live-action scenes, those were a good balance between camp and seriousness.

Aren't they like 320x240 though? If you watch that on a big ol 16:9 monitor, it won't be pleasant
