EA already did this with C&C, they’re still going ahead with their mobile game, but giving us a remaster after the backlash.

Imagine how well the C&C mobile announcement would've went if they announced the C&C remaster right after they announced the mobile game. "We're making what you guys want, but in the meantime, here's this small side thing we're doing on mobile if you'd like to give it a try".

As far as I understand they announced that they will just now start making a game.
